Stunning Narration. Phenomenal Story.
Revisado: 12-15-24
Despite having already read the entire Girl Games trilogy, I had to give the audiobooks a shot. Both narrators turned an already brilliant piece of art into something so much more.
Sacha is... There aren't enough words to accurately describe the talent this woman has to spin a tale. I've spent hours getting lost in her worlds. But the beautiful way these narrators brought her words to life? It's just something else entirely.
Even if you've already read Girl Games, giving the audiobooks a shot is an absolute must.

Historia
Vivian Barrera, a professional woman focused on her company's success, doesn't know what to think when her sometimes-lover and long-time business partner Jack hires someone without her permission. The only thing she does know is that she doesn't like the newcomer. April Hawkins is determined to make her new job work. Left as the sole provider for her niece, she just wants to keep her head down and collect her paycheck. That proves to be difficult when one of her bosses seems to hate her and the other seems to like her a little too much.

Formatting Issues? Editing Faux Pas?
Revisado: 12-13-24
This audiobook could have been something, had it not been for the run-on chapters. Each chapter contained at least 2 scenes, but there was absolutely nothing to differentiate between them.
It's very off putting when one second they're mid coitus and in the very next breath they're having family time with a child, or vice versa. Not to mention the lack of transitions just made it really hard to follow along.
It could have been a great experience had it not been for that. I very much liked the plot, and the voice actress was amazing.

Historia
Nathan Gallagher doesn't believe in ghosts. As a fireman, he's seen his share of dead people, but they never spoke to him before - until now. His marriage is great, and his relationship with his son is strong, but Nathan is sure that if he tells his family that he's seeing ghosts, it is a quick ticket to a padded room and a straightjacket.

Most Ridiculous Ending Ever
Revisado: 11-12-16
The book was good until the last few chapters. Seemed like the writer fizzled out and couldn't finish.
The narrator wasn't much better. Couldn't get a good rhythm and had to stop for a good while because we just couldn't get into the book the way the narrator was reading it.
