Not a very good story. it should have been concluded in one book, but ends before conclusion. I will not be getting the second book since you know what the end should be halfway through book 1.

Never read this series before

I purchased this because it sounded interesting. I completely missed that it was part of a series. So I felt a bit rushed and too much was going on in the beginning. Which is what made me look in to the book and I discovered it's book #23. I got annoyed and debated dropping it, but was already a third of the way through.

I ended up sticking to it and once you get over feeling like you should know the main characters in the beginning, I felt like I wasn't missing too much for the story line in the book. I really enjoyed it and I plan to go back and start at book 1. But I would say you could read this as a stand alone as well.

Romance novel disguised as sifi

I only continued to the second book because I had purchased the 2 books on a buy one get one free deal. It's just awful. if you want a character who keeps swooning over the male love interests in the book, is is great. Otherwise save you money.

I have read better written female leads by male authors. I have to admit the story starts out interesting the first half of Archetype but quickly becomes predictable and her internal monolog becomes one dimensional.

The reader is good though.

It's a romance novel

Things haven't changed

It seems we keep saying, things are so different and we can do whatever we want as women now. But is it really when you realize the Me Too movement was just over a year ago and it was some how "shocking" to everyone. this book just summarizes what we already know as women and gives you historical events and laws that have kept us where we are. And points out, there have been women fighters asking us to stand on their shoulders but we don't. It is tragic that we can do so much, as humans but never get very far, as women.

Adventurous fiction

Love the story so far. great telling of it as well. just had a few issues with pronunciations of words names but they aren't common in western cultures so understandable. however, this might be better read by someone of indian heritage since it took me 90% of the way through before I figured out some of the meanings of the words in Hindi since I couldn't distinguish if author made up the terms or were rooted in real language. But over all I am hooked.

an exciting story

This series is very exciting, hardly any lulls in the plot line. so much going on. it has political plot lines with multiple people trying to manipulate situations and and adventure. I just have had a bit of an issue with pronunciations of words, mostly because western cultures aren't used to the terms. it probably will only bother people who know Hindi or similar languages.
