Another excellent installment

The Bobiverse has become about my favorite series of audiobooks, and this installment is as good as the rest. Ray Porter is an exceptionally good narrator and a perfect fit for this series. The only frustrating part is having to wait for the next book to come out.

Seriously, I barely had time to finish his last new book before this one was out. An absolute gem looking back in the life of the incomparable Bunny McGarry, with great exposition of his character as it’s developed in the Dublin trilogy. Thanks to Messrs. McDonnell and Jones.

McDonnell and McDonald are an outstanding team.

McDonnell is in a two-man race with Christopher Moore for the best humor writer alive, and this is as good as you’d expect from him. Brendan McDonald is as good a narrator as there is in the business as well, up there with Euan Morton. His timing, delivery and voices are outstanding as usual.

Correia is probably the most entertaining sci-fi writer of this generation, and Wyman is an immensely talented performer, absolutely nailing the tone, voices and tempo of the story. I'm re-listening to the series in anticipation of the next volume due out this summer, and I was still enthralled from start to finish.

I was nervous about Correia allowing a co-writer in one of the main storyline books of the Incredible MHI series, but Hoyt was a perfect choice. The only complaint I have is that it's probably going to be another 2 years before the next book in the series.
