Proudly pro defense
Revisado: 10-01-24
Loved listening to Hazel tell her story of events. First off, I'm proudly pro defense, but appreciate the openness about trying to keep an open mind until the end. Also nice to hear Robert Rand on this audio book too. I appreciate these advocates continuing to champion for the truth. freethemenendezbrothers

Historia
Married for 26 years, Jose and Kitty Menendez appeared to be a happy couple and proud parents. Twenty-one-year-old Lyle Menendez was enrolled at Princeton, where he was a star on the tennis team. Eighteen-year-old Erik Menendez had just graduated from Beverly Hills High and was about to start college at UCLA. The Menendezes appeared to be living the American dream. But it was all a façade.

Well worth the listen
Revisado: 04-23-24
When I first heard of the Menendez murders I was 16. I have always been transfixed by this case. As a teen I didn't have access to the trial and had to settle for a lot of secondhand media. TV movies, magazines and documentaries. Allogf which I consumed. After watching The Law and Order True Crime I once again because hyper fixated on this case. This book had a lot of insight and was a great read. Highly suggest. OH, and also....it's time to release these men. They deserved so much better than this. #releasethemenendezbrothers

Historia
With all of the pluck and charm of its eponymous young hero, Rachel McAdams (The Notebook, Spotlight, Midnight in Paris) delivers a spectacular reading of Montgomery's beloved bildungsroman. In moments both funny and bittersweet, McAdams' voice is imbued with the spark that has made Anne a much-loved symbol of individualism and cheer for over a century.

INFPs will love this 💗
Revisado: 10-06-22
I am an INFP and if you don't know what that means, that's okay. However, if you read this book and Anne seems somehow familiar in word, action or mind....You might be one too. I LOVED EVERYTHING about this book. I've watched all versions of the everything Anne related, but not until reading (or listening rather) did I find such a bosom friend and kindred spirit. Anne is most certainly an INFP as well. I loved all of it! Please do more of the books with Rachel, I loved her!

Thumbs up!
Revisado: 09-20-22
As a fellow INFP and lover of all things fantasy, I've always wanted to read LotR. As I get older I find it harder to focus so I'm loving audio books. Especially when I was worried I might stall as the story goes on. I think having Andy Serkis read them was fantastic. Though maybe not the best at singing, still very enjoyable! I'm looking forward to the two others in the series.
