I loved the storyline so it truly irks me that the author completely ruined the story with lecturing about pronouns and being Uber propagandist with her story! Making an intentional point to make a character nonbinary going on a diatribe about gender, misgendering , and how it’s wrong to not accept their identity as truth and reality. Explaining the logic behind the mental illness. Nothing ruins a fantasy novel like pushing leftist propaganda and ideologies especially when it’s outlandishly wrong, contra human nature, contra reality since she insisted on tainting the fantasy with it, and the lies are simply repugnant

Activists woke pronouns

This book has a great base it sucks you in with witches and mages tea and dragons and magic… but the author ruined it completely! It’s like a political activists diatribe in story form ! Lectures on pronouns, transgenderism, lesbians and cross species, racism, social inequality blamed as always on the wealthy. It was not a good book it was completely ruined! If you like that sort of thing then you will love it. I felt like punching the chick who wrote it for wasting my time my money and for luring me in with a false narrative only to be irritated immensely! It’s woke mind virus story time!

Overtly liberal woke

I loved the story line and the characters very much. I hate that she ruined it by deliberately putting in extreme leftist ideologies, completely ruining the experience of story. Making emphatic statements that have no baring on the storyline, other than to make political statements to her readers, simply because she can! Had it not been for this, the books would have been amazing works. It’s a story of tea, fantasy world and magic and she just had to put in that just because “ witches were born female with female reproductive organs doesn’t make them female” and all of the trigger words too oppressed, privelage, inequality, systemic racism etc!!! She worked it in to the story nicely. It’s almost as if the story were created to make a political statement about immigrants instead of it being just a fun light hearted great story! As a first generation here in the US I can say that these ideas do not flow across the board. Liberals do not speak for all immigrants or have their best interests at heart. Liberals and other immigrants who join together speaking for all immigrants shows the very presumptuous & declarative nature they possess and is very much an insult to all. They do not speak for all immigrants! These view are of some only. She drew very real parallels from her story world to the real world on purpose and this is why I say what I have said. It’s a good story I just wish I hadn’t spent my dollars funding her far left ideologies. I feel duped out of my money under false pretenses of a nice easy story of tea and magic and a princess to a woke political diatribe

I thoroughly dislike the main characters personality!!!! He almost ruins the whole thing for me. I love the story and all of the characters. The character development is great except the main characters….. the premise of selflessness and giving back to the land once was a copy of many similar stories but make no sense to the main characters selfishness arrogance or pompous behavior. The main character is actually lacking in virtues that the story tries to use to make him the legitimate protagonist…. Makes no sense

Parts were hilarious!

Can’t wait for the next one!!! Made me sad to hit the end.
If only we got them in twos though instead of one story/ book/ part at a time.
I also really wish each one was available to purchase in book form as well. I got the limited edition copy in book form of the first one but would really love the rest.
Honestly though!!! What is the point to serializing if not for profit & low overhead! I would even take a pdf if I had no other choice. Tangible books are amazing to have in addition to their audio counterparts especially for when shtf and no more power/ internet is available lol I want to be able to read these fantastic stories. Of all of the similar stories and genre constants this is my favorite one. The characters and story line are fantastic!!!!!!

A heads up would be nice.

The ending was good but felt rushed. But man a heads up would have been nice. The actual story has over in less than 2hrs and then it’s all filler. I normally don’t leave reviews but man I’m mad.

I have listened to all the books and this one by far is one of my favorites. The only problem I have is the back and forth that happens through the book. Besides that it is a great story and I can not wait for the next book.
