Historia
Few figures in American politics have seen more and said less than Mitt Romney. An outspoken dissident in Donald Trump’s GOP, he has made headlines in recent years for standing alone against the forces he believes are poisoning the party he once led. Romney was the first senator in history to vote to remove from office a president of his own party. When that president’s supporters went on to storm the US Capitol, Romney delivered a thundering speech from the Senate floor accusing his fellow Republicans of stoking insurrection.

Interesting
Revisado: 11-20-23
It’s not the kind of biography I’d like to have written of myself. Mostly because it’s largely political. It mostly focuses on his part in the political atmosphere of the last decade—which, granted, has been very interesting and important. But I don’t think it’s the most important thing to Romney himself. It’s all about guessing the “why” of all of his political decisions. I’d like to see Romney—or a member of his family or a close friend—write a biography on their own terms. The comparison of the two books would get us a lot closer to the truth.
Still, an interesting read.

Awesome book and performance- bad language though
Revisado: 08-06-22
Really love this book and the performance. Nice job! Wish they had left out the unnecessary bad language that spoiled it for my younger children. For me, the language didn’t really add anything at all but kept my whole family from enjoying the book together.

Historia
Acclaimed author Michael J. Sullivan created instant best sellers with his spellbinding Riyria Revelations series. This first volume introduces Royce Melborn and Hadrian Blackwater, two enterprising thieves who end up running for their lives when they’re framed for the death of the king. Trapped in a conspiracy bigger than they can imagine, their only hope is unraveling an ancient mystery - before it’s too late.

Hot and cold
Revisado: 05-14-16
I would classify this as a fun read. Great sense of humor, really loved some of the characters. Even the politics intrigued me. But, and I don't consider myself a feminist, the character development of nearly every woman in the book involves prostitution or sexual assault. Not kidding. Really, Sullivan? Bad form!

Historia
As a massive outbreak of supernatural visitors baffles Scotland Yard and causes protests throughout London, Lockwood & Co. continue to demonstrate their effectiveness in exterminating spirits. Anthony Lockwood is dashing, George insightful, and Lucy dynamic, while the skull in the jar utters sardonic advice from the sidelines.

Right in line
Revisado: 09-26-15
This was right in line with the quality of the previous two. Not sure why each book has had a different reader. This reader is quite a bit different than the first two, but once you get used to her, there's lots to like. And the book, really, is the star. Creepy, compelling, completely annoyed that I can't read the next one yet. J.S. is going to throw us all for a loop, I think. I hope it's a nice, long series.
