Historia
Long months have passed since Siris and the God King, enemies betrayed together, were left to rot in the prison at the Vault of Tears. Their true enemy - the Worker of Secrets, creator of the Infinity Blade itself - now reigns. Upon finally obtaining freedom, Siris must unravel plots that seem to make no sense, lead a rebellion with no direction, and fight against the division within his very heart. The secrets unraveled will dig backward in time toward the origins of the deathless and the true nature of the world itself....

Excellent short story. I 100% recommend. The short amount of time you spend with these characters is just the right amount to; know and wonder all you need to know and wonder.

A very intriguing perspective
Revisado: 03-30-24
This novel focuses on chaos side of the story. And though it might bee confusing at the start one soon sees the connection, 'the call'. Following a few potentials through their hours and fears was an very interesting point of view.

Gotrek belongs in the Mortal Realms
Revisado: 08-01-22
Another stellar performance by Johnathan Keeble. This novel and Gitslayer is the highlight of Gotrek's adventures in the AoS thus far. His interactions with his Duardin kin and his philosophy really shines through. This also brings a new aspect to his character that is really the core of his motivation in this new era. Its been a long time coming but this drive is what his story really needed.

In the perilous jungles just north of the great city of Hammerhal Aqsha, Chaos reigns. There, a powerful Tzeentchian wizard grows in disciples and in might as his maledictions leach all that is good from the land. It is Neave Blacktalon, first of Sigmar’s Knights-Zephyros, who must vanquish this foe. Yet the huntress soon realises that even the glow of the Twin-Tailed City cannot protect her from the darkness. Blighted by terrible visions, she fears that her very spirit has been tainted. Blacktalon must choose whether to abandon her duty in the quest for a cure or face the fearsome judgment of the Sacrosanct chamber.

Not earned
Revisado: 06-25-22
I did not feel most of the "achievements" in this boom was well earned. Even though it is a fantasy novel, to often, things fell more in place than was placed. No victory, relationship or goal was really fought for. Aron just gets it.
The reader was good though.

Goterk finally finding a place in the Mortal realm
Revisado: 04-21-22
This is another excellent addition to Gotrek's search for "that" long awaited doom.
This novel is the fist real entry that places Gotrek comfortably in the Age of Sigmar. Realmslayer is excellent, but it is something else than a Gurnisson story. Ghoul-slayer was a boy of a mess and thus a bit of a miss. But this book 📚 wants me to continue our heroes' tale.

Here is the novel that will be forever considered a triumph of the imagination. Set on the desert planet Arrakis, Dune is the story of the boy Paul Atreides, who would become the mysterious man known as Maud'dib. He would avenge the traitorous plot against his noble family and would bring to fruition humankind's most ancient and unattainable dream.

How not to overhype a Masterpiece?
Revisado: 01-15-22
Dune is the LotR of Sci-Fi. This book established many tropes we know today and despite it's age and possible "tropey" feel, this is an incredible book and story. I would definitely recommend this.
Just a note on the performance: At one point, the Baron's voice actor changed and it threw me for a while.
