I love this story. A tourist (Tori) from Iowa meets a sexy bartender (Josh) in the French Quarter of New Orleans during Mardi Gras. They have instant sparks. But barely act on their chemistry. They decide that the distance is too much of a barrier to seeing if there could be more. But they agree to meet again a year later if they both want to. A case of mistaken identity, bad timing and some nostalgia lead to an ill advised kiss. The Bride gets mad and groom is confused and Tori needs a boyfriend for her best friend's wedding fast. Enter our sexy bartender. Let the good times roll.

I love the interaction with Josh's family and the gang at Trahan's.

The narration was great. Neill Thorne has a very sexy accent in this one. Would love to hear him whispering sweet nothings in my ear.

We met James Reynaud, New Orleans firefighter in Nice and Easy. He is a someone that people count on to help out. If you have a pet or plant that you can't take care of anymore you give it to James. He will take care of it.
His next door neighbor, the sassy professor Harper Broussard, helps James take care of his charges. One day there is something different left on James' doorstep, a baby boy. Harper is convinced that it is James's baby. They set about trying to find the mother. As they co-parent the baby their relationship gets closer.

There is a little twist and a great HEA. Great way to wrap up the Boys of the Big Easy series.

Great narration by Ryan West.

There is something so great about listening to the man narrate the first book that he co-wrote. What a thrill for Joe Arden. That said...it was a great story. Joe Arden and Erin Mallon do their usual incredible job narrating this one.

I love a "forbidden" story. They have wonderful chemistry, but can't act on it because she is his boss's sister and he has been burned before. They try to fight it, but end the end it is no use.

Great main characters and secondary characters.

Love it!

Great follow up to Not My Romeo. We met Giselle Riley and Devon Walsh in Not My Romeo.

Both Giselle and Devon are drawn to each other, but neither thinks that they are right for the other person because of their past or childhoods. Circumstances find them sharing a living space. Things turn physical, but they are still reluctant to share emotions. I loved the journey to their HEA. It was also fun hanging out with her family and his football friends.

I hope we get a book for some of the other players on the team.

Great narration on this one.

Steamy Friends to Lovers story

This was my favorite book in the Boys of the Big Easy series. This is a steamy friends to lovers story, which is my favorite troupe. This one is by far the most spicy of the Boys of the Big Easy series, which is fitting for a couple that live in the French Quarter of New Orleans.

Lexi is a single mother of a sweet little boy, Jack. Caleb inherited his sister's daughter (Sophie) after his sister and her husband died in a car crash. Lexi and Caleb are part of the single parents support group. They also rely on each other for child care. Lexi finds herself without a place to live. Caleb is a fireman and a fixer, so he takes Lexi and Jack in to live with him and Sophie. Lexi has been interest in a relationship with Caleb for awhile. But he thinks she is too young for him. She is concerned that he can't give her what she needs physically.

Great side story of Sophie's developmental issues due to injury from the car crash and how Caleb, Lexi and even Jack react to it.

I loved watching them go from friends to more with all the steam and a little kink.

Great narration by Ryan West.

Gabe and Addison’s story continues in Going Down Easy. In the beginning there were fireworks during the one-night fling, when Addison came to town for work. Only it turns out that it was not just one weekend. Every time Addison comes to town she hooks up with Gabe. But she doesn’t want a relationship.

Elena has been talking to Gabe and Logan about restoring their historical tavern for several months. They finally decided to go forward with the project. When Gabe goes to the Elena’s office, he runs into Addison. It is her first day at her new job in New Orleans. She’s no longer in New York. Can this be the start of something more for them? Gabe wants that, but Addison is leery that anyone would stick around for her. She has a secret; she has a 5 year-old daughter. Turns out that Gabe also has a secret of his own.

Addison does not really have a support system for her family. Gabe has a strong support system in raising his son. I loved the interaction of the kids and their parents. I really enjoyed the single parents support group and their meetings. They offer great advice as Gabe and Addison work towards an HEA.

Great narration by Ryan West.

Logan Trahan co-owns Trahan's Tavern in the French Quarter with his brother Gabe. He is interested in Dana Ducet, the young widow and mother of two daughters. After months of asking her out, she finally agrees. One night of passion and Dana becomes pregnant.

Dana is concerned about relying on Logan, the single "good time guy." She was married to a "good time guy", that came home from on leave from the military, had fun with her girls and then left. Leaving Dana as the one responsible for discipline and all the other things in child rearing. She is not sure that she can do that again. But she also doesn't want to keep Logan from his child.

As soon as Logan finds out that he is going to be a father, he wants to make them all a family. Dana is reluctant, expecting him to get bored and leave. As their relationship grows, she begins to see that while Logan is a "good time, up for a party" guy, he is also responsible. She can count on him. It was fun seeing them become a cohesive family and Dana and the girls accept Logan. Also loved his interaction with his friends at the bar.

Great narration by Ryan West.
