Historia
For some people, Alaska is full of light and beauty. For Haley, it is a dangerous world of dark and tortured memories. She's here to document wildlife activist Kipp Nowak's bear encounters. But her real reason is to unearth the truth about a past murder. The suspense mounts when another body turns up, and Haley begins to wonder if the tragedies she experienced in the past are connected to the dangers and mysterious incidents of the present. Alaska Twilight is the story of a young woman's emergence from the shadows of past sorrow into the light of forgiveness and grace.

I loved the book. I love that there is no bad language. The narrator kept putting emphasis on the wrong words in the sentence. Good reader, though.

Historia
Investigative journalist Laura Chambers is back in her tiny hometown of Hillsborough, North Carolina, the one place she swore never to return. Fired from The Boston Globe, her career in shambles, she reluctantly takes a job with the local paper. The work is simple, unimportant, and worst of all, boring - at least until a missing girl turns up dead, the body impeccably clean, dressed to be the picture of innocence. Years earlier, 10-year-old Patty Finch left home and never made it back. But for the people of Hillsborough, Patty was just the beginning.

David Baldacci usually has terrible language in his books so I don't listen to his books. Someone recommend this one and it did not have bad language and was a great listen. Why use language that many of us will not listen to?

I like mysteries that make you use your mind to try to figure things out. Also, a little romance. No bed hopping is so great. No horrible words is a good thing. I know the words, I don't need to hear them on audio.
