Another Great Tale
Revisado: 03-17-22
I may be a little biased as Jeremy Robinson is a favorite author of mine. This book did not disappoint. The story was phenomenal with great twists and turns. You really start to feel fear and anxiety for the characters as you listen. Jeffrey Kafer is great as usual and along with RC Bray, Phil Thron and Greg Tremblay always does a good story Justice.

Historia
When the biggest colony ship in human history was sent to settle a paradise world, an accident hurtled it deep into uncharted space. A thousand light years from Earth, with no way home and no way to call for help, the colonists’ only hope for survival was the one barely habitable planet in range, a nightmare world they named Croatoan. Landing on the only five mountain peaks tall enough to rise above the lethal acid clouds, the settlers carved a civilization from the rock.

Historia
Almost as exciting as the chance to have archeologist Brian Harris' dig sites modeled in an interactive virtual reality is the chance to alpha-test the newest Terramyr Online game for the company providing the tech. The arrangement is simple, test the game, play the main storyline, and report any glitches. In return, the game's main designer will render fully virtual models of the dig sites that will not only ensure Brian's successful graduation but set him up for life as he uncovers the secrets hidden within a trio of ancient Chilean volcanoes.

Revisado: 06-24-21
As I am not a huge fan of the LITRPG Fantasy genre, I took a chance on this title. I would have to say that I am now going to have to delve into this genre more going forward. The story was fantastic with great character development and the world building was awesome. The narrator did a great job and kept me wanting more. Any fans of this genre won’t be disappointed by this book and should pick it up for your next listen.

Revisado: 06-02-21
I have been hooked on this series since book one. With no time to read I prefer audiobooks and the narrator, Greg Tremblay, is by far one of my favorites. He really brings life to the characters throughout the story. J.N. Chaney never disappoints either, his books are always gripping and full of action. The world building is superb and I can’t wait for the next installment. I hope the authors can continue delivering what has been a fantastic series so far.

This is a thoroughly engaging story and the narration is superb. I am planning to pick up the next in the series ASAP so I can keep the characters fresh in mind. I can’t wait to see what the authors have in store for the next installment. For those that like good action and pretty out there sci/tech then get this book. You will not be disappointed.

Historia
I was in my garage when the space elves addressed the whole world. They didn't call themselves space elves, of course. Most humans struggled to pronounce Khjurhnalva, so we opted for the easier version. They had a message for us: Forces that had eradicated their species' males were now heading for Earth. Hungry for our resources, the alien hordes annihilate everything that stands in their way. The space elves offered us access to the System and asked for very little in return. After all, cooperation was vital to the survival of both our species.

Historia
Kwan Wilson was a high school basketball star living in San Diego when a tragic accident changed his life in ways no one could predict. He only looked at his phone for a few seconds, but that was all the time it took to crash his car into a telephone pole, killing his mother and paralyzing him from the waist down. After the accident, his father, Admiral Douglas Wilson, sent him off to live with his maternal grandmother in South Florida.

I was pleasantly surprised by this story. Took a chance as it was a free download and I would recommend others to take a listen. Some parts were a little predictable but overall the story keeps you engaged till the end. If genetic mutations and underwater tropes are your fancy then take the plunge on this one.

Historia
The powerful narcotic syncophine, commonly known as Flare, comes from only one source: the oil of the gargantuan whale-like beasts that swim the dust sea of Nullaqua. It was John Newhouse’s addiction to the substance that made him a dealer and forced him to move to this airless, inhospitable planet. But when the all-powerful galactic Confederacy declares Flare illegal, the needs of Newhouse and his clientele leave the desperate off-worlder no choice but to sign on as an able seaman aboard a dustwhaler and hunt the giant creatures himself.

Not what I expected.
Revisado: 04-06-21
I’m not sure what I was really looking for when I listened to this but it was far beyond what I had expected. Although the narrator was a little flat, the story made up for it. This is like nothing I have listened to. The world development and all around theme had me mesmerized and I hope to find more from this author for future listens. If you are looking for something out of the ordinary then give this a try, you won’t be disappointed.

Historia
The metropolis of New Crobuzon sprawls at the center of the world. Humans and mutants and arcane races brood in the gloom beneath its chimneys, where the river is sluggish with unnatural effluent and foundries pound into the night. For a thousand years, the Parliament and its brutal militias have ruled over a vast economy of workers and artists, spies and soldiers, magicians, crooks, and junkies. Now a stranger has arrived, with a pocketful of gold and an impossible demand. And something unthinkable is released.
