Travis' book is better than I ever expected

I love reading autobiographies. I read about 3-5 of them a month. I wasn't expecting to love this one so much. Travis Barker has had one of the most fascinating lives I have ever read about.

The painstaking process it took to write this account is beyond commendable. It's as if we were taken on a journey that no one bothered to take when it was THEIR jobs to take it. I was skeptical at first but the argument is so undeniable that I can only be impressed and at the same time be completely disappointed in those who are supposed to be the people paid to find the truth. This book is truth beyond a shadow of a doubt.

I'm going to read it again because I so thoroughly enjoyed hearing Mariah sing. She is definitely a phenom. Her ability to weave back and forth in time and make it all still make perfect sense was a fun exercise of feeling like I was just in the room with her telling me her story as her friend. Love Mariah and wish I would've realized she was black because she makes us proud.
