Too much copy and paste from one story to the next.

The first story was pretty good, however after that the second third and forth were just repeats of the first with different names and tiny changes in the characters jobs etc... I finally stopped half way through the third book bored to death, listened to the first couple chapters of the forth book hoping that it would improve but unfortunately it was the same copy and paste.

True to life dialog

Love the story so much depth made it a grab your attention book until you stay up all night anticipating the next turn of events. Needs more in the series pleaseeeeeee!! ❤️

Clean and wholesome

I throughly enjoyed this book series its clean God fearing way of showing a meaningful romance while also including the old west from the towns people to the Indian community was so true to life it was a breath of fresh air. It's such a relief to listen to a book series that doesn't revolve around playing mind games and how many times the characters can have sex not to mention having to give every torid detail of the characters sexual conquests until that becomes the whole story is a relief. This series goes so deep into the cultures of both the white and Indian peoples that it makes you want to climb back into the history books to learn more!

Very little mystery or suspense.

I listened to 3/4 of the first book and could not listen anymore. The first book mostly is focused on the budding relationship between the main characters, one that Taylor didnt want at the beginning. Then when the ex girlfriend is killed and found in the woods its almost an after thought of Walker. He's way more interested in getting back into Taylor's pants than in doing his job as a cop. Should be listed as a steamy romance instead of a mystery suspense novel.

Terrific Suspense!!

Loved this book! Tons of suspense, mystery, alittle romance but just enough to be real. Keeps you going clear to the end trying to sort out the many tendrils to the answer as it all winds down to a single truth. The history from the indians pov and their rich stories across their heritage and how it all gels in the end with the white mans beliefs is so good!! And to add to it that the book is free with your membership is a win in everyway!! Highly recommend this book for anyone looking for an awesome mystery to suck you in and not let go.

Wonderful

Such a surprisingly exciting and suspenseful book! Loving and kind I love learning of the Amish culture and their total faith in God's teachings. But the way it is brought about in this book means even more! It's not simply an Amish love story but a story of love, endurance, belonging, and the will of a man in love who never gives up.

Terrific wholesome love story that has a little heat but lets you use your imagination. A strong heroin and a gentlemanly hero that isnt stuck on himself or his past. No poor pitiful me's in the book! Lots of suspense puts you right into the old west with surprises around every corner and a surprise ending you didn't see coming! I could even recommend it for my 17 year old daughter. Will probably come back and listen to it again after I finish the last book. Its that good!!

love the quirky take on all of the after life characters. it is such a light hearted approach to vampires and doesn't include all the over the top erotism that so many vampire books do! the narrator is so fun to listen to and does such a great job of bringing the characters to life!
