Fascinating podcast
Revisado: 03-22-23
Honestly, one of the best podcasts I have ever listened to. As a victim of public education, I should have been taught and learned many of these stories. Sadly, I was not. The history is informative, but presented in an entertaining way. Episode 12 was probably my favorite of the series. Learning about John Boyd in particular was fascinating and encouraging. A must listen.

Historia
The Naked Communist has sold almost two million copies. It found its way into the libraries of the CIA, the FBI, the White House, and homes all across America and the world. The Naked Communist contains a distillation of more than a hundred books and treatises on communism, many written by Marxist authors. We see the communist the way he sees himself - stripped of propaganda and pretense. Explained here is the amazing appeal of communism, its history, and its basic and unchanging concepts.

Should be required reading
Revisado: 12-23-22
It is unfortunate this was not required reading at any school I attended. But then again, most of my teachers were liberal socialists trying to indoctrinate their students. This is the best book I have listened to that teaches a comprehensive history of communism and also take about the principles of freedom and the understanding of why socialism and communism is destructive. A must read.

Excellent
Revisado: 11-10-22
Having read and seen other works by David Barton, I was glad he narrated this book himself. A lot of great information., including details about the DNA study of Sally Hemming's children. I remember it being used as a political tool, which misinformed me about the conclusions, as well as other aspects of Jefferson's life. He was a remarkable American and this book inspires me to learn more.

Excellent book, but audio issue in last chapter
Revisado: 10-17-22
Like other David Barton books I've read, I enjoyed listening to this book very much. It had a lot of good information in a short amount of time (always a plus). My only complaint is the audio in the last chapter was scratched and for about a minute or so and I could only hear half of what was being said and at a critical moment. Otherwise the performance would have earned a 5 instead of 4 stars.

Satisfying conclusion
Revisado: 09-28-22
Good ending. I'm usually disappointed in how other stories conclude, but this was one of the better ones I've experienced.

Good pace
Revisado: 08-31-22
Despite the length, the story moved at a good pace. The story was good, some pending story lines finally came to a conclusion. Overall an entertaining read.

As good the first 5 books in the series
Revisado: 08-13-22
Excellent book. After several slow books in the series, book 11 was much faster paced and more action packed. It was as enjoyable as the first 5 books and is making the series great again.

Highly Recommend
Revisado: 01-19-22
After listening to the audio samples, I chose this version over the Michael Kramer and Kate Reading version as Ms. Pike seemed to bring the book to life more than the other. She seemed to act the story out through her voice. Highly recommend this version.
