Historia
Eighteen-year-old Celaena Sardothien is bold, daring and beautiful - the perfect seductress and the greatest assassin her world has ever known. But though she won the king’s contest and became his champion, Celaena has been granted neither her liberty nor the freedom to follow her heart. Celaena faces a choice that is tearing her to pieces: kill in cold blood for a man she hates or risk sentencing those she loves to death.

Though she’s now been granted the powers and lifespan of the High Fae, she is haunted by her time Under the Mountain and the terrible deeds she performed to save the lives of Tamlin and his people. As her marriage to Tamlin approaches, Feyre’s hollowness and nightmares consume her. She finds herself split into two different people: one who upholds her bargain with Rhysand, High Lord of the feared Night Court, and one who lives out her life in the Spring Court with Tamlin.

A lot of thought went into the characters, they were well formed, each having a separate and recognizable presence. Enjoyed reading it, I’m looking forward to the rest of them.

Historia
Dr. Emory Charbonneau, a pediatrician and marathon runner, disappears on a mountain road in North Carolina. By the time her husband Jeff, miffed over a recent argument, reports her missing, the trail has grown cold. Literally. Fog and ice encapsulate the mountainous wilderness and paralyze the search for her. While police suspect Jeff of "instant divorce," Emory, suffering from an unexplained head injury, regains consciousness and finds herself the captive of a man whose violent past is so dark that he won't even tell her his name.

Historia
If my childhood taught me anything, it was to survive. Now I have a deep-rooted mistrust of people and a wall of steel and ice surrounding my heart. So, when Reed Ryan steps into my life, I know I need to keep him far away. He’s everything I grew up hating. Fighting. Fleeing. Devastatingly handsome, he looks like a drunken regret and has heartbreak written over every inch of his body - literally. He’s the quintessential bad boy...and he’s a cop. But the man is my undoing.

I think this one was a little better than some of the cringe worth romance books I’ve listened to. A lot of them have the same exact storyline with different character names. This story was a little different, which is a good thing. However, the writing still wasn’t fantastic.

Historia
There are three things I hate: rich people, boys, and Kai Rush. Kai happens to be all three. He and his dad have all the money in the world from the game app they created, and what do they do with it? They buy private helicopters and flaunt their brand new Teslas. Never mind that people like my mom and I work multiple jobs just to keep our crappy apartment and pay for back medical bills because my dad ran scared and left us alone. So when my mom tells me we have a new cleaning job at the Rush’s before school, I’m peeved. When he starts texting me, I’m floored.

Horrible narrating.
Revisado: 05-15-23
I couldn’t finish the book because the narrator was so bad. Very robotic. When she did the voice of Kai, she made him speak very monotone and slow like he was in slow motion. Drove me crazy. The story might be a good one, but I couldn’t tell you if that were true or not. I feel ripped off.

Historia
Rose Cassidy doesn’t truly live; she just exists. Numbing herself to fear and pain is the only way she can survive in this cruel world. So when she’s taken as collateral by the notorious Danny Black in a deadly game of power, she’s thrown by the deep fear she feels rising within her. And, worse than fear, a profound desire. She’s heard tales of The Brit. He’s callous. Coldblooded. But no one ever said he was wickedly beautiful and darkly captivating.

This is honestly, one of the BEST audiobooks I’ve ever listened to, and I’ve listened to a LOT.
It’s exciting, lovely, dramatic, suspenseful, surprising, sad, and everything in between.
I HIGHLY recommend this book. I know it’ll be one of only two books I listen to again and again.

Paint your toes. Pick up the wrong coffee and bagel order. Drive from Brooklyn to Jersey in traffic so slow you want to tear your hair out. It’s amazing all the useless things I can accomplish while on hold for three hours with customer service. Three hours when I should be getting the Date-in-a-Box website ready to launch at the big business expo in a few days. Except my shiny new website is glitching, and my inner rage-monster is ready to scorch some earth...when he finally picks up. Not the robot voice I expected but a real live human named Kal.

This book is funny, quirky, cute, and I LOVED it.
I REALLLLLY like that I was able to listen to an entire audiobook without anything raunchy in it. It’s refreshing to know there are good romance books that are still clean & bubbly.
The story was a good one. The ending had me smiling and wishing it kept going.
I definitely recommend it!
