The Author Of this book should not write for the Flesh Tearers or any Astartes. I counted 41 times where he wrote that they grabbed for their weapons on the tip of violence over the smallest disagreements. The author does not understand how the blood angels function he made no sense of why a chaplain is acting like a novel marine on the tip of killing his own and does. AVOID THIS DOGSHIT

Primarch book...but not much Primarch

I really expected a book about Sanguinious, how he got to Baal, how he awoke and was nearly killed by the tribeman, The angels leap, how he changed and took over Baal, how he and the Emperor first met...this book was a big let down, I do enjoy Chris Wraight books, but leave the Blood Angels to Guy Haley. Having this told from the pov of a remembercer really sucked.

AMAZING!

Another great book. This and Saturnine are absolutely amazing books. The story started rolling and never stops always moving, giving us answers to past questions. I loved this book and recommend it ten times over. I can't wait to listen to it again

Night Lords Trilogy

Pretty solid

I can say right off the start I was upset to see they changed the narrator, and more so they changed it to somebody that hadn't really been established (Just my opinion). I would rather seen the same guy finishing this book up or one of the other veterans like Keeble do it. Book started pretty slow then I slowly grew into it. The voice of one actor in particular bothered me before i finally got use to it. I really enjoyed the answered questions from this book, as well as some of the stories continued on from the past and the nods to people of Dantes past. I really do hope if we do get a fourth book, that continues. I am quite interested in Lorenz as he has been with Dante since before becoming neophytes. It's really great to see nods to him and Chaplain Malafael as well as an insight into their stories and fates. It's very hard to follow up the masterpiece that is the Devastation of Baal as well as Dante. So this was as great as it could be in my opinion. The slow start was made up for with the battle scenes and answers to Dante's past as well as Primaris and Rubicon lore. Other then my two gripes, I am quite happy with Guy Haley and the stories he has down for the Blood Angels.

other then the one major story flaw I really loved it. I dont want to spoil it, but anyone reading through HH will know what I'm talking about. getting annoyed with the lack of Sang fighting

Great insight into the Death Guard

I really enjoyed this I didn't know much about mortarion and why he had turn traitor to easily until now. my hate for typhus continues and even more so now. great read !
