Worth the Wait!

I've been waiting for this book forever it seems like! It was well worth the wait, and Mrs. Feehan fans will be delighted with Skyler and Dimitri's story. I know I was! Skyler does a lot of growing and changing in the story--and that's all I will say. :) Also, I like how there were two narators! They were both really good at passing back and forth--in conversations. Its the first book I've heard with two narators. I LOVED it!!!!! I'll definitely be rereading!

Second Book even better!

Kate Daniels is a mix of compassion and tough. In this book we get to see more of her caring side, and more of her vulnerability. One of my favorite things about her is that she will go through hell for someone she cares about. She and her world continues to be one of my favorites. Also the narrator is a favorite of mine. She reads at a good speed, and does good accents and emotions for her characters.

The way urban fantasy should be!

A lot of urban fantasy in my opinion these days is focused too much on romance, and not on other things. But not this one, Kate Daniels is an amazing character--one of my new favorites--and is kick butt. The romance isn't like in your face and I like that the story has romance in it but isn't all romance. Has amazing fight sceens! And Kate isn't afraid to stand up for what she believes in, even when she'd do better to keep her mouth shut--in my opinion. LOVE this book! Also, this is one of the most interesting worlds I've come across in my reading. Its well thought out, and its interesting how it switches between magic working and tech working.

I have been a fan of the Sisters of the Moon/Otherworld series since I first read them. She's a fantastic author and they just keep getting better and more intense with every story. If your looking for a good, funny, intense, sexy read definitely read this one!
