Historia
Is your organization in danger of Mission Drift? Without careful attention, faith-based organizations drift from their founding mission. It's that simple. It will happen. Slowly, silently, and with little fanfare, organizations routinely drift from their purpose, and many never return to their original intent. Harvard and the YMCA are among those that no longer embrace the Christian principles on which they were founded. But they didn't drift off course overnight. Drift often happens in small and subtle ways.

Drawing on their own cross cultural experience in global mission, O'Brien and Richards show how better self-awareness and understanding of cultural differences in language, time, and social mores allow us to see the Bible in fresh and unexpected ways. Getting beyond our own cultural assumptions is increasingly important for being Christians in our interconnected and globalized world. Learn to read Scripture as a member of the global body of Christ.

A Must Read Book for Anyone Serious About Studying God's Word
Revisado: 02-29-16
This book will help you understand why the Bible doesn't seem to make sense sometimes. It will also help you find deeper meaning "hidden" away because we look at it incorrectly.

Felt like finished listening to a three hours infomercial....
Revisado: 02-29-16
The book is good, very good, and very helpful; however, the reader is just a little too "enthusiastic" like one of those infomercial guy.

A Refreshing Look at Preaching
Revisado: 02-19-16
For the lack of a better word, Keller's book is enlightening. For an armature preacher, he sure helps me start on the right foot...before bad habits are formed. There are also good reminders for veteran preachers how to preach for His kingdom and not, accidentally, for their own glory.
