Hoffman, the legend himself.
Revisado: 11-16-24
The things you hear about psychedelics, and the misinformation that goes around cannot begin to describe how absurd it all is. It was known to me that he rode a bicycle while high on lsd, but i was not aware of the significant role he played in this rebelious child turned wonder child. If you have an interest in learning how psychedelics could potentially be used to alleviate psychological therapy, take some time and listen to this book. No matter how looked down upon the substance is, there is no doubt that there is more than meets the eye when used in a profound nature rather than partying with it.

Merlin died HOW?!?!?
Revisado: 10-03-22
Y'know, I love Monty Python's The Holy Grail, and listening to this put so much of the story behind the glorious laughs it provided me every time I have watched it. I had no clue there were that many knights that sat at the round table, and the reason behind Merlin's fate was fucking insane. I would highly recommend this to anyone who has some spare time that would like to listen to an awesome story.

The Gods were where?
Revisado: 09-29-22
The whole scope of the Egyptian mythology isn't fiction, but shrouded in mystery. This book takes a deep dive into one of the most broad questions there is, God[s]. Every civilization has found themselves praising, and praying to a god ( or deity, entity ) which was an omnipotent being that could mean many different things for them. How could these Gods be known in an earthly presence? How could these humans know just exactly what they were praying to? How could humans possibly build certain buildings in order to be closer to their god?
Mathematics, and advanced forms of stone masonry/carpentry are just small factors in this equation. What is lying under Antarctica, and how long has there been ice in that barren wasteland ( of sorts )? Listen in, and figure out that there are much more answers to questions you want to find out after hearing just a bit of this immersive subject.

What is Strategy?
Revisado: 06-23-22
Here in this book, you learn how strategy is used by historical figures.
How is it that these individuals have been able to conquer their opponents with less than ideal situations? Not enough troops, not enough manpower , not enough what? Could you tell that conquerors of all ages have done one thing in mind, and that is to strategize. What does your opponent plan on doing, what do they think *YOU* are going to do, what will you feign to have the upper hand with a miscalculation?
Listen to this book, and you'll get a broad understanding of how people use this to their advantage. Whether you are just curious to know more, or are wanting to do better in life situations ( whether it be business, or moments of ambiguity )
Don't just play chess, conquer your enemies with strategy.

The ESSENTIALS for business
Revisado: 06-21-22
I've read a few books, and listened to multiple books on the subject on business but none other were as concrete as this book was. I'm not in business/finance/sales but I enjoy learning many different things just to improve my daily life in the long term. This book has everything that is needed to be successful in the world of business/marketing/sales, and every topic that is gone over is explained in full detail on how to go about it. You don't need to come from a business background to be successful in sales, you don't need to go to school for business to make it in the world of sales. If you can apply these skills to any market that deals with monetary value you'll be able to improve your life one sale at a time. I would highly recommend this book for anyone interested in making a step towards a rewarding life. If you want it, why do you want it?

Animals?
Revisado: 06-16-22
Yes, from the small and adorable to the big and intimidating. These lectures taught me a thing or two about how in the animal kingdom there are natural factors to it thriving and extending its life, to how biological ways of certain species have been raised to develop skills to become self sufficient. Are animals self conscious about being animals? How does the preservation of wildlife affect the ecosystem? How were black foot ferrets brought back from extinction?
I would definitely recommend this course

Russ Harris offers a surprising solution to low self-confidence, shyness, and insecurity: Rather than trying to "get over" our fears, he says, the secret is to form a new and wiser relationship with them. Paradoxically, it's only when we stop struggling against our fearfulness that we begin to find lasting freedom from it.

New perspective
Revisado: 06-04-22
There's a thin line between fake confidence ( whether it be with drugs, and alcohol ) and real confidence in yourself ( Skill , talent ). It is up to you as an individual to become aware of this, and to take the leap of faith into an unknown pool of anxiety/worry of failure to come out unscathed as your best self. This book is a great eye opener to the lacking nature of the one stop deal offered by other books.
One last note, Don't try to be a perfectionist, it'll help you out in the long run.

Historia
Philosophers have long puzzled over the nature of space, time, and matter. These inquiries led to the flowering of physics with the Scientific Revolution in the 17th century. Since then, the spectacular success of modern physics might appear to have made philosophy irrelevant. But new theories have created a new range of philosophical concerns: What is the shape of space? Is time travel possible? Is there a grand unified theory that unites all of physics?
