Historia
Spellfire is the most powerful magic in the land. It’s a dangerous weapon in anyone’s hands. In the wrong hands, it can destroy the world. Shandril Shessair wanted a taste of adventure. She got spellfire, and now she's fleeing for her life across Faern, searching for somewhere to hide. More evil wizards, warriors, and priests than she can count are trying to get it from her, and they'll kill or enslave her without hesitation. Her last, desperate hope is to take refuge in the sheltered city of Silverymoon. If she makes it that far.

Shandril and Narm Attacked over and over.
Revisado: 12-13-22
The title of this book should be called. Shandril and Narm get attacked over and over again. Because all throughout the book. That's all that happens. Rest attacked repeat. The narrators performance was excellent! Long drawn out tragedy of a story. That could have ended a book ago. Those Zents shure are persistent. I will give them that.

Historia
It can lay low a dragon or heal a wounded warrior. It is the most sought-after magical power in all Faern. And it is in the reluctant hands of Shandril of Highmoon, a young, orphaned kitchen-lass. Now she's on the run from half of the evil sorcerers in the land, not to mention their relentless minions. But with the help of a handsome young wizard, some rough-and-tumble Knights of Myth Drannor, and a certain old mage of Shadowdale, she just might manage to stay alive. At least until tomorrow.

Enjoyed the book
Revisado: 11-17-22
Narrator was awesome! He does voices for every character in book. Very good story especially the last chapter was 5 stars. Have listened to a good number of Forgotten Realms books. This one was one of the better ones I have listened to. Alot of charming characters. Elminsters view of evil characters. Makes you feel bad for them. A little too much doting over Shandril and Narm. By the Knights. Is kind of annoying. And makes you wonder why? When they just met. Is why I removed a star. But overall a very good book.

Historia
All her life, Narnra of Waterdeep wondered who her father is. Amid the squalor of the streets, through the danger she faces daily as a thief in the City of Splendors, she speculates on whom the mysterious wizard might be who left her mother to raise a fatherless child. Now she's discovered that it's no less a person than Elminster of Shadowdale, mightiest mage in all Faerian. And her anger is as boundless as his power.

Big Surprises In Story
Revisado: 05-24-22
Wish the book would have centered more and more on the main two characters of this book. But was more than satisfied with this book at its conclusion. A lot of big surprises and memorable moments. I enjoyed the story very much. Was sad to see the end of this particular series in the forgotten realms and its most powerful wizard. Not the best book of the bunch. But still very good.

Terrific Book
Revisado: 02-15-19
Listened to the other 3 books. This book by far is the best so far. It is very deep and has lots of action. Some of the most powerful beings in the forgotten Realms battle it out in this book wow! If you are a D&D nerd like me. You will love this book! They have all been great so far. But this is the 1st book in the series. that I felt compelled to write a review for so far. It was so good!
