For a person of above average intelligence many of the concepts and theories are difficult to understand. Overall it offers insight about current scientific theories and contrasts them with what has been accepted knowledge.

A wisp of a plot shrouded in almost continuous descriptions of lust and detailed serial activities. I regret having listened as long as I did .
I was just too hopeful that the book would improve and it didn't.

Interesting but rapidly spoken

The lecturer speaks very rapidly and it is hard to follow all the hominoid names, places and discoveries. I slowed down the speed and that helped. I'm very interested in our evolution and this seems to be a very thorough and recent review of discoveries but at times it was hard to follow because of the speed. It's worth a try if you're interested in the subject.

interesting twist in the plot. The reading was fine for the female characters but not good for the males particularly since they were strong Texas men. Too many references to the Lord and God. A bit preachy.

Lack of moral leadership from the Pope and Vatican

Fascinating and well documented with Vatican records and other histotric documents. Pious XII, supporter of Italian Fascists and tolerator of German Nazis. When the world at war needed moral leadership the Pope offered none and even failed to espouse moral standards or humanitarian values. Hardly saintly conduct.

very disappointing

very disappointing. The vines , winery and plot are a mere backdrop to a multitude of lurid, detailed sex episodes at various locations including, kitchen, office, shower and bedroom. Of course the main characters are very attractive and physically endowed. If you are looking for something more than a tittilatng literary excursion you may also be disappointed by the book.
