very exciting and captivating but violent

Steady tread to a violent video game

I have enjoyed this series but noticed in the previous book the march towards a more violent subject matter. Sadly, this new title has grown even more violent. An author with so much to offer now glorifies bad behavior and extreme violent acts in his writing.
Cutting off ears, surgically removing people's tongues, car bombs that kill..... Not sure why it was necessary to go here.
I'm done with Mr Evans. I won't have my teens reading his works any longer. There is more than enough violence in our lives, why here??? Very sad.

Great feel good story.

Great story with nicely developed characters. I was caught up with the main characters almost immediately.
The narrator did a remarkable job portraying each character.
Definitely a thumbs up from me.
