Historia
A Portuguese Jew living in Holland, Spinoza was excommunicated because of the unorthodox view he took of God. Spinoza wrote in the rationalist style of a geometric proof to develop his idea of God as the infinite, indwelling cause of all things, a unified causal system that is virtually synonymous with nature.

Baruch Spinoza was a brilliant man. I have learned so much. I love that I was able to experience this.

Historia
The vegan lifestyle is not just another popular diet plan, and the world is beginning to know why. Veganism is helpful for those who wish to live a healthier life, lose weight, reduce the risk of chronic disease, and so much more. A diet free of animal products also means living a greener life and changing the world for the better - one plate at a time. However, one of the greatest reasons to become vegan is to put an end to the unethical slaughter of animals for human consumption.

The reader for this book constantly repeats herself over and over making it very difficult to follow along without getting annoyed.

Fear?

I see that this author was in some form of pain. It saddens me to think that it pushes people to accept negativity so suddenly.

Historia
In a series of illuminating, often surprising experiments, MIT behavioral economist Dan Ariely refutes the common assumption that we behave in fundamentally rational ways. Blending everyday experience with groundbreaking research, Ariely explains how expectations, emotions, social norms, and other invisible, seemingly illogical forces skew our reasoning abilities.

If you want a better understanding of why the world is the way it is, look no further. This book will help you understand why people make the decisions the do with their money. I recommended this book to anyone interested in economics in general. Very eye opening.

Historia
The Introvert Advantage dispels common myths about introverts - they’re not necessarily shy, aloof, or antisocial - and explains how they are hardwired from birth to focus inward, so outside stimulation such as chitchat, phone calls, parties, or office meetings can easily become "too much". Most importantly, it thoroughly refutes many introverts’ belief that something is wrong with them. Instead, it helps them recognize their inner strengths - their analytical skills, ability to think outside the box, and strong powers of concentration.

Wonderful
Revisado: 12-15-15
This book has given me so much insight and relief in my life. I thought for sure I had something wrong with me. Anytime I'm in a crowd I tend to get very overwhelmed by all of the stimulation and want to leave as soon as I get there. I now have a better understanding of what to do to keep myself from having these issue. I highly recommended this book to anyone with social anxiety. It has helped me and may help you as well.

So many lists
Revisado: 12-15-15
While I absolutely loved the lessons that this book gave me I couldn't help but notice that the book does lists very regularly. These weren't very short lists either so it made it slightly difficult to stay on track with the book. I did especially enjoy the stories of others that struggle with ADHD. It helps to know that you are not alone when it comes to these things. I would recommended this book to adults looking to educate themselves on ADHD.

Excellent listen
Revisado: 12-15-15
Excellent book. With every chapter I found myself itching to hear what happens next. The author did a good job of keeping to hardcore gamer roots from a generation before my own. While the stigma of the "virgin nerd" is a little played out I can appreciate the romance the author built. Overall I would recommended this to any gamer of any age. They use references from the very start of gaming history. If you appreciate games you will appreciate this book.
