Should be a good series...
Revisado: 08-28-13
What three words best describe James Marsters’s voice?
The recording was bad. At first I thought that I wouldnt be able to listen to the whole book, but the story kept me involved enough. Its not so much the reader, but is more of the production/audio - so much noise like breathing and weird pauses too.
Any additional comments?
The story line is interesting, I like that he is more like a private investigator.. will be a good seiers.

What did you like best about this story?
I was really impressed with the story and the reading. I picked this one based on the reviews, not something I would have sought out and it was well worth it.
What about Robert Glenister’s performance did you like?
His British accent partnered very well with the British style writing. He was a perfect persona for Strike!

Nothing ... maybe it just was a fad that made it to popular, cause the story was terrible.
Would you be willing to try another one of Becca Battoe’s performances?

Historia
Cutting a deal with a trickster god rarely goes well for any human brave or foolish enough to try it, but Atticus doesn’t feel like he has a choice. With members of the Norse pantheon out for his blood, he can’t train his apprentice in peace, so he asks Coyote to help him fake his own death. The cost, however, might wind up being every bit as high as if he’d made no deal at all.

Loved this entire series...
Revisado: 08-05-13
What made the experience of listening to Tricked the most enjoyable?
I had just finished the Game of Throne series when I picked up this one. I loved this, nice - light - good story and concept. I laughed out loud many times. I also learned quite a bit about all the gods and goddess out there, so that was cool. It wasn't dark and heavy like GOT and Luke Daniels did an amazing job with all the different voices and kept them 100% consistent between all the books. I would totally recommend this.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Oberon.... I loved his funny comments..
Have you listened to any of Luke Daniels’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Historia
Atticus O’Sullivan, last of the Druids, lives peacefully in Arizona, running an occult bookshop and shape-shifting in his spare time to hunt with his Irish wolfhound. His neighbors and customers think that this handsome, tattooed Irish dude is about twenty-one years old - when in actuality, he’s twenty-one centuries old. Not to mention: He draws his power from the earth, possesses a sharp wit, and wields an even sharper magical sword known as Fragarach, the Answerer. Unfortunately, a very angry Celtic god wants that sword, and he’s hounded Atticus for centuries....

Meh
Revisado: 08-05-13
Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?
It could have been a really good story, the concept of the book is awesome, but it seemed very predictable. I pretty much had the entire book figured out by the time all the characters were introduced. It started pretty slow, when it got interesting is when it became predictable. Not a bad story - just not something incredible mind-blowing exciting.
Would you be willing to try another book from Dane St. John? Why or why not?
Maybe
Did David DeBoy do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?
So - So....
Could you see If Not for the Dawn being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?
Maybe a made for TV movie - not more than that..
Any additional comments?
Meh
