Too many wasted pages spent on graphic sexual details.

A really good writer doesn’t need to rely on graphic sex to make the story interesting. Domestic violence is a relevant topic and the plot was interesting, however a good storyteller doesn’t need to make it so raunchy. Readers aren’t stupid, leave a little to the imagination.

Entertaining listen

I did enjoy listening to Matthew Perry’s story. I appreciated his ability to make his terrible experience of addiction honest, real and funny. The timeline was a little hard to follow, a little too much back and forth. I found myself wishing there had been a chronological timeline of events. Overall though, I enjoyed the book.

I loved this story and believe it 100%! It bugged me a little when the narrator used fake accent when quoting Dr Nemeh.
