The story was nice and interesting, it definitely is worth a read. However definitely a pg13 rating, the male and female lead kissed, twice, and nothing further.

C.M. Nascosta has written another monster romance masterpiece

The male lead was so amazing. Nervous and shy without being obnoxious or wimpy! The female lead’s pinning for the male lead wasn’t hard to read or cringy. It was real and relatable. I am certain that elements of her moth man’s sexual abilities will appear in the works of others due to how creative her descriptions and utilizations were. I look forward to her next book!

The story is way better than the synopsis

Just as it says above, I was a little turned off from this book by the synopsis that was given. However, after listening to the story the world is very unique and hero is a lot more interpersonal than expected. I’m not a fan of angsty books and this definitely was not an angst story as the synopsis led me to believe. With the female leads cat it was a very easy listen full of steamy scenes and bits of comedy. Definitely worth giving a try.

Audio overlap is mostly fixed with a few hiccups on chapter 13, and 23 or 24

BDSM is not my general forte but this was a well conceived and written story, the female lead wasn’t as strong willed as I would have liked, but she was willing to try and fight to save herself when alone which is a plus. The world built around the story was a lot more interesting.

The story is better than the cover suggests

I saw a review that said this story was too one sided and to some degree it does focus on the female lead. However if you are a fan of aliens arrive on an earth with a collapsing economic and social structure, I have a story for you. This one presents with multiple culture differences that the female lead and male lead have to work together on. They both have their own flaws and triggers. It sets up a nice introduction to a potentially unique series. It’s worth giving a chance. The sexy time scenes are a bit tame, but the story is pretty solid.

Are chapters missing?

The very end of the story feels incomplete and doesn’t really explain what happened except she wakes up and the bad guy gets what’s coming to him. No explanation as to what was planned or how they did so, just a sudden “the heroes arrive! The end!” It also felt disconnected as if the story was written by 2 separate individuals attempting to tell different stories about the same cast of characters. It was extremely confusing and left me with a dissatisfying after taste. The world on which was created by this author was very different and unique which I did really enjoy and would like to see more exploration upon.

Good story with a new take on invasion and the after

The previous reviewer reported not liking the story and stopped reading assuring chapter 11. This story has 75 chapters. The FL is a terrified human who has survived an invasion and the collapse of society. When she is “bought” by 4 orc she is understandably terrified of what they want especially when rape has been a previous concern from both humans and orcs alike. This story explores the coming together when two worlds try to understand each other, and their unique cultures and attempt to begin rebuilding society. It is the second book in the series and I would have to say it’s my favorite so far.

Very different take on multi partners

This story was very interesting For the story, as well as the hot sexy time scenes. Of note this story does include M/M as well as F/M which I am aware that some readers like to know about in advance. For me it was another successful Lillian Lark story. I would have liked to see where the story about her best friend lead to more so in the epilogue, especially when the line of no harm ever came from a book.

My favorite of the series thus far.

The first two books were ok, but a bit slow or stale in some chapters. This one stayed entertaining throughout and I feel conveyed a better depth related to the characters and their developmental journey.

Beautiful take on trolls

This was an interesting story involving a strong male lead and a spitfire female lead. I enjoyed the take on multiple creatures and the world the author created. Nick Cracknell additionally has a nice voice and is easy to listen to as he narrates each character and their interactions.
