It's been many years since a book has moved me as this book and its preceding one has. To describe it in a word EPIC. I feel changed and know this book will always be with me. I have never read or listened to a book more than one but I plan to go over both these books again and again.

This book has been sitting in my library for some time now. For reasons unknown I have been passing it up time and time again with boring unmemorable books. Finally I said enough is enough and hit play and I was glad I did. This book is what audio books where made for-it completely transported me from today's worries and mess to Kaz's crew. I felt like I was right there with them. Simply fantastic.

My least favorite

I have loved Charlie Parker from day one but this novel was almost unbearable in it's story line. More than once I wished I could kill off the old Nazis myself to just get it over already. I'm desperate to get to the next novel ONLY to get the memory of this one out my mind.
