Historia
Imagine the best dream and worst nightmare that you've ever dreamt. Now imagine both of them actually happening. Anthony Kingston is a clinically depressed high school student who starts to find that everything he dreams comes true exactly how he dreams it. Every conversation, every action, every fragrance that he smells, and every sensation that he feels in a dream is later found to be a glimpse of reality that he saw ahead of time.

Propaganda
Revisado: 10-15-24
The vast majority of this book was just a set up to present propaganda. Very disappointing. It had very little information that was actually beneficial. Very basic. And then slaps with lots of communistic, progressive, liberalism and nonsense.

Historia
Jayson Gaddis is a personal trainer for relationships and one of the world’s leading authorities on interpersonal conflict. For almost two decades, Gaddis has helped individuals, couples, and teams get to the bottom of their deepest conflicts. He helps people see the wisdom in conflict and how to get to zero - how “clean and clear” we feel with others when we have successfully worked through a disagreement. In Getting to Zero, Gaddis shows the listener how to stop running away from uncomfortable conversations and instead learn how to work through them.

99% of this is garbage
Revisado: 08-12-24
When you read a book, it’s important to get a proper world view. The world view of the author is incredibly demonic and Pagan. It’s woke, pantheism and promoting a victim mentality in many aspects of it. I’d recommend basically any relational psychology book over this one. “Everyone’s values matter,” really? Even a pedo? A murderer? Do their values matter? No. The value of 90% of people don’t matter and are not valid because their experiences falsely tell them that they are as he claims in this pandering book of hatred towards God and the biblical worldview. Repent and trust in Christ.

Historia
Hypnotism (or the study or practice of hypnosis) has often baffled people as to its effects and strange origins. Some things involved in hypnosis, are psychometry, the right mindset, something to make them focus on, and Neuro-Linguistic Programming techniques. Sometimes, mentalism is confused with hypnosis shows as well, but there are lots of differences, some of which we will highlight in this guide as well. In a nutshell, you can learn a lot about hypnosis and its uses.

The best psychology books are ones that include few opinions and tons of statistics and results of various studies. That’s what this is. This book, while on a weird subject, is structured as the perfect psychology book to keep every single moment interesting. Much of what is stated is disturbing and will make you feel physically uncomfortable. It’s worth powering through. I learned far more than I thought I would.

Historia
Jonathan Haidt skillfully combines two genres-philosophical wisdom and scientific research-delighting the listener with surprising insights. He explains, for example, why we have such difficulty controlling ourselves and sticking to our plans; why no achievement brings lasting happiness, yet a few changes in your life can have profound effects, and why even confirmed atheists experience spiritual elevation.

Revisado: 08-02-23
It’s a few small explanations of a various studies mixed with a lot of atheist garbage where he claims absolutes while saying absolutes don’t exist. He wrote a lot on theology and yet simply displayed that he really has no idea what he’s talking about in that realm.

There is a war on masculinity, and everywhere we look—on every front we hold sacred—we can see the painful reminders of this collapsing order. The chaos and crisis we are experiencing today should be a signal for men everywhere to rise up; to fight to preserve our way of life by once again walking the ancient paths. But this isn’t a journey that need be taken alone.

This is an amazing book
Revisado: 07-12-23
On the morning of July 11, 2023, I woke to begin the schedule that I had prepared the day prior. That was interrupted as I noticed an email from Audible telling me that ‘The Warrior Poet Way’ was finally available for download. Instantly, I opened the Audible app on my phone and began the download. Only having 20 minutes left of the previous book that I was listening to, I threw in headphones and finished listening to that book so I may start this one. After finishing a trip to the shooting range, I pressed play on ‘The Warrior Poet Way’ to have less than a minute pass before I felt literal chills moving distally down my arms in the 90° weather. I have been a follower of John Lovell since day one of his YouTube endeavor. So with years of anticipation of John finally writing a book, I was not disappointed in any definition of the word. From the moment you press play, you are enticed and engulfed into what can only be described as a poetic sermon on masculinity and what it takes to strive to be a better man. As a Christian, a writer, an author, and someone who carries a gun every minute of every day to protect the people around me, this book is absolutely one of the greatest books I’ve ever read, or listen to in this case. I will almost immediately be purchasing a hard copy of this book as well just to further support the amazing message found within. John has always been very open and honest about his family life, his marriage, and the mistakes that he makes in his journey, so reading this book, anyone who follows him will already feel as though they know John or have known him for years. It begins to feel like you’re getting some of the details and insights into some of the fore-mentioned stories and accounts that you wished to know more about but were unable to ask. John constantly talks about how he looked for a modern man to be a model to live after. In that quest, John became that man for millions of men. I finished this book the day after I bought it, July 12th, 2023. This is one that is nearly impossible to put down. I pray that God continues to bless John and continues to use him to bless the lives millions around the world as he has definitely blessed mine.

Historia
Why do nine out of 10 children raised in Christian homes leave the Church? Why do many professing Christians show little or no evidence for their faith? Why do 80-90% of those making decisions for Christ fall away from the faith? For decades, the world's most popular gospel message has been drawing the lost by promising God's wonderful plan for their life.
