Historia
When a mad lass in trousers shoots at him, Munro "Bear" MacLawry isn't sure what impresses him more - the girl's sure aim or her irresistibly tempting curves. Catriona MacColl has fled to the Highlands with her half sister to escape an unwanted wedding and wants no part of him or any man. But he can't abandon the flame-haired, sharp-tongued wildcat now that he's discovered her - not when she fits so perfectly in his arms.

Ok usually I love highlander series. But wow this one stunk!!! Bear/Monroe was the best of the siblings so that's why I gave this one two stars but man this series was terrible. You hate the oldest brother from book 1 till the very end and he never admits he was in the wrong. Not only that but the family treats Bear like a moron the entire series even though he's not. That never changes. In the end he is still a moron in his family's eyes. Horrible story. I'm sorry to say that because I usually love Suzanne Enoch books. Will never read again. Hated all the characters but Bear and Cat.

Historia
Mickey Rooney began his career almost a century ago as a one-year-old performer in burlesque and stamped his mark in vaudeville, silent and talking films, Broadway, and television. He acted in his final motion picture just weeks before he died at age 93. He was an iconic presence in movies and the poster boy for American youth. Yet, by World War II, Mickey Rooney had become frozen in time.

Very interesting with lots of film history. Did not know it would be rated PG-13 to R though. Lots of detail into his life (some TMI) and lots of dropping the F bomb. If you want to keep the fantasy of Andy Hardy don't read this book. If you want a truthful look at who Mickey Rooney was then this is the book to do it. The rose colored glasses come off with this telling of the film legend's life. Very well written.
