Historia
Nesta Archeron has always been prickly-proud, swift to anger, and slow to forgive. And ever since being forced into the Cauldron and becoming High Fae against her will, she's struggled to find a place for herself within the strange, deadly world she inhabits. Against the sweeping backdrop of a world seared by war and plagued with uncertainty, Nesta and Cassian battle monsters from within and without as they search for acceptance - and healing - in each other's arms.

Another great book
Revisado: 05-21-22
So I really love Sarah J’s books. I knocked the star off the story portion because I felt like Nesta’s self loathing and sabotaging just dragged on way too long. Like all right already get a grasp by yourself it just carried on for way longer than I would’ve liked. Also Sarah has written a lot more steamy storylines which are not as normal or common for her but I was loving it, it was pleasantly unexpected!
I am hoping that in the next installment she delves deeper into other characters that are somewhat minor but I would love to get into their minds to see what’s going on with them.

I love Sarah J and this did not disappoint! This is not really YA so it’s not filled with teenage angst thankfully. It was steamy, emotional and amazing!!

The Solaris Empire is one conquest away from uniting the continent, and the rare elemental magic sleeping in 17-year-old library apprentice Vhalla Yarl could shift the tides of war. Good listen overall
Revisado: 03-15-22
I liked the deal of all the book in the series clumped together. But there is definitely an editing issue on the last book or the second to last where the story sped up on its own and parts of the chapters were accidentally swapped to a future part. You are still able to follow the story but that was annoying for me so I knocked a few stars for that. Overall was a good book.

Historia
Roshar is a world of stone and storms. Uncanny tempests of incredible power sweep across the rocky terrain so frequently that they have shaped ecology and civilization alike. Animals hide in shells, trees pull in branches, and grass retracts into the soilless ground. Cities are built only where the topography offers shelter. It has been centuries since the fall of the 10 consecrated orders known as the Knights Radiant, but their Shardblades and Shardplate remain: mystical swords and suits of armor.

What an amazing book
Revisado: 10-06-10
This is one that will go down as one of the best 'reads' thats we've listened to in a while. The only down side at the moment is that this is the 1st book in a 10 book series so it does leave you yearning for more. He does a great job at giving each of his characters that depth that they need. It's a really long book so you do get all your credits worth. The narrator duo was a nice pair. If you enjoyed his last series "Mistborn" you will definitely enjoy this one. They are many life lessons to learn in this book and we can not wait for book 2 to come out!

3 on the Narrator 5 on the book so 4 overall
Revisado: 05-03-10
It took me a while to get into the book again because of the narrator change. I understand if you have to change the narrators but if they are reading a series thats already 5 books in you'd think that they would AT LEAST annunciate certain words and character names the same as the previous narrator. The book minus the narrator voice was wonderful it definitely had a ton of twists that kept it entertaining thru out! and the narrator grows on you a bit after a while.

I loved this book
Revisado: 03-06-08
The character development in this book was amazing. Jodi hit very current topics in todays society that the general public shy's away from discussing. The decisions made in the entire book keeps you contemplating on your own life and whether you would make that desicion to. You end up loving and hating each character in the book. This book was so good that it's 3am and I had to write a review on it because I just finished readling (listening) to it and COULD NOT step away from it. And selfishly enough it has made me grateful that I do not have to go through the trying times of the fitzgerald's!
