NOT A FULL STORY - ALL CLIFFS
Revisado: 01-20-25
This is not a full story. Not even for a series. All these plot lines are opened and not a single one is reached. There is zero resolution and zero HEA the blurb promised.
It had potential till it cut out like a smack in the face.
At least warn us in the blurb that is a small part of a serial (different from a series)

Steamy, kinky, and good story!
Revisado: 08-24-21
1. HOT!!!! - the steam here borders on erotica. But it’s done tastefully. Each scene is about building the relationship(s) and/or showing growth of each mc. There are a lot of them, but they each serve a purpose to the story (not just fluff). The scenes are also more detailed than most since one mc talking is part of it, gives it some individuality and diversity.
2. Kinky - the asmr aspect lends to a LOT of talking/description during steam scenes. That lends itself to benefiting those w a link for that kinda thing. PRAISE kink! If you are into praises during play, this title will likely light you up.
3. MMM - as the blurb says, it’s mmm between a married couple + 1. While the title involves cheating, there is zero cheating from the trio.
4. Triggers - this title does address domestic abuse towards a male from a female (I don’t count it as a spoiler since it’s shown pretty much scene one.). It is done very tastefully and respectfully and a great picture of how men can absolutely be victims and the way most people tend to add extra stigmas towards such victims. It’s done well, just be aware of it incase it’s an issue for you.
5. Solid story - there’s a solid beginning, middle, and end. Well developed plot. Strong character development.
6. Angst - despite the reasons Logan has issues, the overall story is pretty low angst.
7. Narration - each character has a unique voice, making it easy to follow who’s saying/thinking what. Logan’s voice deserves a special note bc the narrator does well conveying the asmr quality to the voice that is called for on the page.
8. I will say there are several aspects/side characters that make me think this may be attached to a series in the future or is in some way set within the world of another title. I’d be curious to know if that’s the case. But this in now way pulls from the story, it’s just an observation.

Historia
I’ve wanted Liam Doherty for as long as I can remember, even when he was married. Maybe it was the Irish accent, or maybe it was just his ripped abs. But now he’s a sexy single dad in need of a babysitter. Is it wrong that when I hold that precious baby I imagine that she’s mine, and we’re a family? But what would an Irish hunk want with a college dropout?

More like steamy border taboo rom
Revisado: 12-23-20
Ok so I’m not big w erotica but I’ll occasionally try some titles. But this one didn’t seem like erotica fit it’s classification. It’s more like very steam and traffic lot horny mildly kinky romance.
College drop out falls for the single father next door. There is a lot of talk on both ends that they want to do things sexually together but more about how much both love the baby and want to be a family but think the other isn’t on board. There is steam but when I think erotica I think the focus of the title is 100% the sex and that’s not the vibe this gave.
It was a decent steamy MF story regardless and the accent for the dude was surprisingly decent.
I would NOT listen to it in public and it is NOT safe for work.
Think more in the middle between erotica and romance.
Also kinky/taboo only bc the daddy/girl thing but even there, he’s not a parental/authority figure to her and it’s all fully consensual.

All the feels
Revisado: 06-13-20
This book takes you through a roller coaster of highs and lows emotionally. There’s angst and tears and trauma. There is even a note of suspense as the timelines and stories are pieces together. But there is also pure love and moments of joy and a sincere message of hope.
There are definite triggers here so the book won’t be for everyone. But it was absolutely beautiful.
And the talent of the narrator! I very very rarely rate a book above 3 stars. 3 is I really enjoyed it. But the narration pushed this one into a solid 4 meaning I truly loved it and will likely repeatedly listen to it.
- note : I was gifted a copy to review. But that in no way affected my opinions of the book.

Solid story, meh narration
Revisado: 04-18-20
The story was good and solid. I liked the pacing and twists to the story.
The only down side was that the narrator has a habit of ending sentences in a way that makes him sound mechanical. You know how with TTS when sentences are ended with a full stop. It’s like that. I was able to block it out mentally most of the story but it was there enough to have thrown me off in a few places.
Again though, I did enjoy the story. :)

Sweet beauty & beast retelling
Revisado: 04-10-20
The story follows pretty closely to the popularised version. But I liked the twist with the tears. It’s also MM which adds a bit of difference as well. I am normally bothered by females narrating a books that’s meant to be in Male POV but she did a good job and it still worked for the story. I think the story being told in narrators POV helped there as well. It set the narrator parts more distinctly from the characters.
I liked it. :)

WHAT WAS THAT!!!!
Revisado: 06-27-17
Ok first off I NEVER give things 5 stars. If I like it it gets 3. If I REALLY like it it gets 4. To get 5 stars I have to have loved it so much that the moment it's over I want to go replay it. THIS book is one of those rare finds. Honestly I just finished reading 2 series that were both 6 books long and fairly dark and I wanted something based in a different world that would put me in a good mood. I nearly skipped this book until I saw how nearly all the reviewers noted how funny it was. So I caved.
All that said, I loved the book. I had me laughing so hard at times that my sides hurt. :). The authors find a nice balance between humour and realistic consequences. The one down side to this book is that it IS the first in the series which means that most of the book is focused on world building and character development. Also, there are a LOT of characters to meet and get to know and at times you have to be careful or they begin to blur together. But there is a story told fully here and it sets a great foundation for the future books. I can't wait to see where the authors take the story from here but in the mean time, I'll probably be replaying this one a LOT.

Changing Narrators
Revisado: 04-24-16
Ok, let me begin by saying that I pretty much literally cyber-stumbled into this series. I couldn't have been happier that I did. It was so refreshing and clean while still being real. It's one of the only sci-fi/fantasy book series that I've read where there was pretty much no cussing AND..... no sections that make you blush and feel weird when your grandma walks in the room. Relationships play a big role in the books, especially this one, but in a clean, kid safe kind of way. I have a lot of respect for an author that can manage that. Ok, now that I've rambled, I really loved the story. It has ships, outer space, conflict, wars, gore, glory, integrity, and honor. The book summaries are pretty true to the work. So why did I title my review the way that I did? Well that was the big switch in this volume. The previous two books are read by Donald R. Emero. He did a lovely job at that. Actually, he sounded a bit Canadian at times to me but I found that charming more than anything. :) But book three sees a shift from Emero to Naramore. I'm the type of person that when a show or film switches the actor for a character or a series changes narrators, I pout for ages. It drives me crazy. But this is one of the very few times when I felt the switch was perfect! Book three marks a lot of changes for the main characters as well as the direction of the story. Naramore does a phenomenal job of transitioning the listeners into those other changes. I don't know if I'm really making any sense but I hope I am. Putting it simply, if you love the genre you'll probably like this series. It is sci-fi/fantasy done with a class that reminds me of Narnia and LotR. I hope you enjoy it. :)
