Not edited

Very practical guide but the audio was not edited so you get to hear the mistakes of the narrator. Annoying but not too bad.

Historia
Across two parallel narratives, Murakami draws listeners into a mind-bending universe in which Lauren Bacall, Bob Dylan, a split-brained data processor, a deranged scientist, his shockingly undemure granddaughter, and various thugs, librarians, and subterranean monsters collide to dazzling effect. What emerges is a novel that is at once hilariously funny and a deeply serious meditation on the nature and uses of the mind.

Fun ride but not a super satisfying ending
Revisado: 05-19-21
I was following the story well after some intentional confusion at the start, until the end where I wanted something a bit more tidy to walk away from. Excellent character development.

Two years later, with Tapestry poised to become the world’s largest social network, their rapid growth puts them under government scrutiny. Tapestry’s privacy and security is so effective that it impedes the government’s ability to monitor routine communications. excellent series
Revisado: 04-15-21
I loved this story as much as the other Hertling books. It is especially thrilling to have a kinky heroine to admire.

Another excellent book by Hertling
Revisado: 03-21-21
As usual, I left the book feeling like I was saying goodbye to a friend. Luckily, there is a sequel! Perfect character development with zero clumsy exposition. Hertling brings you into their perspective and gives you the joy of sharing in their triumph by letting you feel their pain along the journey. I trust him to tie up loose threads neatly while I can never predict how that will happen and am always rewarded.

Each episode was fascinating and taught me something new. I look at clothes differently because if it, thank you for your hard work creating it!

To add to the surprise, he is now a sentient computer and the controlling intelligence for a Von Neumann probe. Bob and his copies have been spreading out from Earth for 40 years now, looking for habitable planets. But that's the only part of the plan that's still in one piece.

not as great as the first
Revisado: 11-23-18
I accidentally read the last one before this one, too. last and first are the best. still going to read the 3rd. excellent narrator. Space fighting is hard for me to follow or enjoy, I love the introspection of singularity problems.
