no real ending

This story would have been great if it had a definite conclusion. Give it an ending and I'd give it 5 stars.

hard to start but worth it!

Very good book. Glad I stuck with it. Being someone who reads mysteries constantly, I did call the ending but it still was wonderful.

Historia
Meggie Meyer, an anxiety-ridden debut author, can’t bear to face her upcoming book tour, but she can’t give up on her writing career just as it’s about to really begin. She comes up with a plan that’s so crazy, it just might work: She hires an actress to impersonate her for the two-week stint. Sloan Buchanan, the spunky aspiring actress, jumps at the opportunity to use her intensive acting method to sink into this unusual role, and the line between her and her character quickly begins to blur. And Rachel Drake, the no-nonsense detective, is left to put the pieces together.

Mindtwister
Revisado: 03-19-21
All through this book, I kept trying to guess what happened. I found each time I guessed, I was wrong. The author was excellent at creating such a plot. First book in awhile that I have gotten wrong. Truly enjoyable.

What would you regret not doing if you died right now? Serious thoughts about what you need to live a peaceful life and what is in your life that is garbage. At least, this is what I thought.

Revisado: 05-01-18
I fell in love with Ella and Tucker. Their blooming friendship was so fun to hear; each step, each new day around each other. I laughed and I cried so many times. Possiblity I am going through the change of life and has made me more sensitive but it stirred my emotions up. Thanks for a wonderful story! 😁

Revisado: 02-17-18
This story has so many levels of confusing secondary stories. In many ways it's a good story, but you better have patience. I yelled several times about how it was driving me insane. Sort of a let down on ending but I had to finish it.
