Excellent,fun read
Revisado: 08-31-20
I follow this series every time I see another book become available. The narrarator,Will Patton is perfect & holds my attention thru out the entire book. This one one had lots of action. The snake-faced man with the raspy voice was creepy & I wondered how he became like that.I soon figured it out myself. Eagerly awaiting the next book.

I liked this book, bec it shed some light on how Trump became what he presently is. I disliked that there were not more "juicy" facts revealed about him. There has to be more dirt on him than what was shown here.

I enjoyed the sound effects & the narrator's creepy sounding English voice. However,it didn't scare me to listen to in the dark at night.

Historia
In this poignant and disturbing memoir of lost innocence, coercion, survival, and healing, Dianne Lake chronicles her years with Charles Manson, revealing for the first time how she became the youngest member of his Family and offering new insights into one of the 20th century's most notorious criminals and life as one of his "girls". While much has been written about Charles Manson, this riveting account from an actual Family member is a chilling portrait that recreates in vivid detail one of the most horrifying chapters in modern American history.

Great first hand account
Revisado: 05-12-19
I had read books about Manson himself & why he became what he did,yet always wondered in the back of my mind why anyone would just blindly follow him. This book shed light on that & could serve as a cautionary tale for parents,as she goes into deep detail about her upbringing.

Historia
Set in present-day Los Angeles, Junk explores an epic conspiracy, one at work for thousands of years that involves total takeover of the planet Earth by aliens. In the wild, souped-up vision of Les Bohem - the acclaimed, Emmy-winning writer of the Steven Spielberg miniseries, Taken - the world is at the end stage of long-range plot that involves a gigantic genetic-engineering project. The aliens who have invaded us have no planet. No spaceship is coming. Instead, a small advance force comes, breeds, and dies - thus becoming an anomaly in our DNA that can’t be explained.

Eric disappeared when he was three years old. Ben looked away for only a second at the grocery store, but that was all it took. His brother was gone. Vanished right into the sticky air of the Florida Panhandle. They say you've got only a couple days to find a missing person. Forty-eight hours to conduct searches, knock on doors, and talk to witnesses. Two days to tear the world apart if there's any chance of putting yours back together. That's your window. That window closed five years ago, leaving Ben's life in ruins.

Historia
An 11-year-old boy's violated corpse is found in a town park. Eyewitnesses and fingerprints point unmistakably to one of Flint City's most popular citizens. He is Terry Maitland, Little League coach, English teacher, husband, and father of two girls. Detective Ralph Anderson, whose son Maitland once coached, orders a quick and very public arrest. Maitland has an alibi, but Anderson and the district attorney soon add DNA evidence to go with the fingerprints and witnesses. Their case seems ironclad.

I love King!
Revisado: 09-22-18
To me,he made another winner here.I was engrossed in this tale from start to finish, chapter after chapter.I even listened to it in bed, putting the timer on my Audible app to not miss anything when I fell asleep! I felt sad for the coach whose life was ruined, yet enjoyed when the narrator did Lovey's voice. She reminded me of my dear Southern grandmother who I miss greatly.I can see myself listening to this one again just to hear that character.King has a real gift for touching ppl with his books.
