Great story. Narration could be better.

Wow, What an epic story. I cannot wait for it to continue. Unfortunately the narration is lack luster or I am just spoiled with the other amazing narrators. It would help to either have the male narrator voice the male characters if the female narrator can’t do voices. Or have them pitch their voices in the voice acting so one sounds more masculine. Reading in one monotone makes it weird hearing xadens voice in the same cadence as violence.

I will say at the top I DNF. The narration was like being in a manual with a new driver. The flow of the sorry was just not there. There was a bad flow or no flow that it felt like I was being read a grocery list. I love Linsey Hall books generally so maybe I just have to read it myself. I’m sad. I wanted this to be good.
