Would you listen to Spying in High Heels again? Why?

I would definately listen to the antics of Maddie over and over again.

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

I love the mix of Maddie and Dana's "Lucy and Ethal" tatics, Mom and Faux Dad, plus the pure sex appeal of Jack makes you want to know whats next.

What does Caroline Shaffer bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Her interpretation of Maddie is spot on

If you could take any character from Spying in High Heels out to dinner, who would it be and why?

This was a tough one for me because its a tie between Maddie and Dana. I think I would take them both just to see first hand how these two interact with each other.

this is a hilarious book series and listening to them now is even better! Caroline Shaffer brings Maddie to life and makes her even better! I will definately be listening to this series!

What disappointed you about Damaged?

I have read the book and was excited about the audio version. Until I heard it. So disappointed.

What didn’t you like about Jessica Geffen’s performance?

Her voice did not fit the characters and made the girls sound dingy and wittless.

I would not reccomend the audio to a friend.

What didn’t you like about Jennifer Bronstein’s performance?

I did not like the narrator for this. Although the souther accent was part of the character, the performer slipped in and out of it throughout the book.

Do you think Fallen Too Far needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

I would not if the same performer narrates this book

What did you love best about Beautiful Stranger?

I loved the overall story itself. The interaction between the characters including Chloe and Bennett were funny, heartwarming and engaging.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I love Max. He seems to try and be complex when in reality, he just someone who wants to be loved. I love that he has a wicked bad boy sexy side as well that he fully opens up to Sarah.

What about Grace Grant and Jonathan R. Cole ’s performance did you like?

The performances were amazing. I loved the fact that Jonathan had the accent as did Max which made the story even better.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I loved the scene in Sarah's apartment where Max was taking pictures while in her bedroom. It was erotic, sexy and emotional.

Any additional comments?

I loved reading Beautiful Bastard. Now I am a fan for life of Christina Lauren. The way these ladies write is a nice change to the normal first person telling. I can not wait to read Beautiful Bitch and the others coming out.
