Great Listen

My mom and I had a long road trip, and I picked this since it's a "sweet" rom com. We laughed so hard.
Pat was great, and it was so wonderful to see the male lead know what he wanted and go for it.
This was a heartwarming story with very little miscommunication between the main couple.
We can't wait for our return trip and Winnie and James's story.

Just my luck - my new next door neighbor is a unicorn. Yep, the British hottie is clearly a mythical man because - get this - he's a sexy, witty, charming, big-hearted single dad. Who, wait for it, wants to find Mrs. Right and get hitched. He’s a once-in-a-blue-moon kind of man, and it’s a darn shame I’m not on the market. If I were, his accent alone would melt me. Add in the fact that he's a veterinarian, and my animal-loving heart would be flip flopping.

Oldish Single Parents!

Loved the story. I was excited for a new Lauren Blakely book and this one did not disappoint.
January and Liam were great together and Wednesday was amazing. She really reminded me of my girls at that age.
January was 37 and Liam 39, it was wonderful to have the main characters not in their early-mid 20's. No exes drama or other person drama. very low angst. All this added for a very refreshing story.
But I must say broccoli rocks.

We FINALLY get to really meet Griffin!!! His and Cosy's story is a good one. Having a 14 year age difference between my hubby and myself I totally felt for their almost 11 year age difference. Cosy and Griffen are both perfect for each other though. They both love to travel and see new places. They even have a cute-meet and a great give and take. Their story takes place mostly in Vegas and other than Muffy pronouncing Nevada wrong once (it's Ne-va-duh not Ne-vah-da I live there I know) Ms. Hunting had a pretty good grasp of it in southern NV. While Armstrong made a cameo, I slightly missed Brittany Whorington, ack! I never thought I would say that!!!
The storyline was a fun one. The angst was huge at times and lying-liar-liarton got what they deserved. Even though they are all stand alone read or listen to the Shaking-Up series in order so you know who is who.

Fun, funny and well think of another f word...

Loved the storyline. I was looking for a new book to listen to while I did some stuff today and found one that turned out to be the 5th one in the series. I had already listened to Bane and Ruby so I decided to go in order and downloaded the rest. Was not disappointed.
I think Amalie and Lex are great! The airport scene was hilarious! The angst was there, but not heart stopping levels, so that was wonderful.
Now on a serious note, do not listen to this book while grocery shopping, even with headphones. I had a grin, wide eyes and a red face. People avoided me like the plague. The freezer section was great to cool off in though.
