Historia
Stripped of armor, might, and memory, the legendary Forerunner warrior known as the Didact was torn from the physical world following his destructive confrontation with the Master Chief and sent reeling into the mysterious depths of a seemingly endless desert wasteland. This once powerful and terrifying figure is now a shadow of his former self—gaunt, broken, desiccated, and alone. But this wasteland is not as barren as it seems. A blue light glints from a thin spire in the far distance.

Left me wanting
Revisado: 08-11-22
This book did infinitely better at making me hate the banished than the game, that’s about it. The story is very narrow pathed… meaning you don’t need to read this to learn new details that are not already in the game… sure there are a few things…. But nothing of consequence. I want to know what happened to lasky, commander Palmer, Spartan lock… heck We still don’t know much about harbinger, other than… well actually I don’t think we even learned anything new about her either…. Just that she can make you talk in numbers. Over all a big disappointment that we didn’t get to know more about characters that are actually important. But I recommend listening to it at least once.

Historia
October 2559. With the galaxy in the suffocating grip of a renegade artificial intelligence, another perilous threat has quietly emerged in the shadows: The Keepers of the One Freedom, a fanatical and merciless Covenant splinter group, has made its way beyond the borders of the galaxy to an ancient Forerunner installation known as the Ark. Led by an infamous Brute named Castor, the Keepers intend to achieve what the Covenant, in all its might, failed to: Activate Halo and take the last steps on the path of the Great Journey into transcendence.

It an ok read.
Revisado: 10-20-21
Story was meh… wish any of the other readers would have read instead. But other than a meh story and a not so favorable reader it was fine…. The story got its message across. Also I wish they had more than 2 or 3 characters that were interesting. But I do appreciate the lore building
