Historia
2369: Shortly after Starfleet thwarts a Cardassian attack on a Federation star system, the Cardassian government orders an end to its fifty-year occupation of the planet Bajor. As a result, a newly installed Bajoran government requests immediate assistance from the Federation to mediate how the withdrawal will proceed and what recompense, if any, Bajorans are owed from their brutal oppressors. Captain Jean-Luc Picard is ordered by Starfleet Command to oversee these tense negotiations on Terok Nor, the massive Cardassian space station still orbiting Bajor.

TERRIBLE BOOK WITH FAIR NARRATION (A SUR[RISE)
Revisado: 06-15-24
This takes place in the weeks leading up to DS9 Episode 1. Not much was revealed that we didnt already know from watching the DS9 series. Why was it bad? It just went on and on with annoying dialog and absolutely no action, drama or suspense until around chapter 30. It was dry, slow, and boring. To say nothing of the fact that the dialogue just got me annoyed. How.any true "Trecker" could rate this babble as good is a head scratcher. Kira was not like the kira of episode 1 at all. Garick had his witty moments, Dukot was Dukot but otherwise, Keiko's dialogue was poorly written and just made me fast forward when ever she was on. Oh, and the author need to research more the get the various characters of the Enterprises ranks correct.
Now the narration. Petkoff is generally a good narrator and he has Picard, Worf, Laforfge, and Crusher down pat. But his narration of characters outside of his wheelhouse was terrible, especially O'Brian, Keiko, and Kiera. He should have watched more old episodes to get it right. It was a difficult listen. If a book is really good, I will listen over and over. I listened to the "Pray" trilogy so many times I can recite the narration. Ditto for "Captian to Captian" trilogy. In the other universe, I listened to the "Thrawn Ascendency"trilogy probably 20 times as well as "Thrawn"/ This one, I sent back to the bin.

Historia
The USS Enterprise has been granted the simple but unavoidable honor of ferrying key guests to Betazed for a cultural ceremony. En route, sudden tragedy strikes a Federation science station on the isolated planet Kota, and Captain Jean-Luc Picard has no qualms sending William Riker, Data, and Chief Medical Officer Beverly Crusher to investigate. But what begins as routine assignments for the two parties soon descends into chaos: Picard, Worf, and Deanna Troi must grapple with a dangerous diplomatic crisis as historic artifacts are stolen in the middle of a high-profile ceremony.

First Impressions after 3 chapters
Revisado: 06-08-21
Seems like a good story however, Sullivan is no Robert Peckroff. He does a passable Kirk and McCoy but a poor vulcan, be it Sarek or Spock. Unfortunately the title is SAREK! His reading of the Sarek character is not terrible but still leaves much to be desired. Mark Thompson or Peckroff would have been better narrators.

Terrible Narration and Incomplete Story
Revisado: 03-23-21
Only the Quark character sounds like the actor. Sisko: terrible. Kira sounds like a man. Nog terrible. Jake: not bad. Most of the characters sounds the same. Morton is no Mark Thompson who is excellent or even Robert Petkoff who is very good. In addition, the story is shortened to the point that it jumps from one scene to the next. I read the book and this was just a poor job of converting a paperback to audible. So disappointed. Last, where are books 2 and 3??? What is the point of making a book 1 that ends abruptly when there is no book 2 or 3.

Historia
It’s not easy being 16, especially when everyone expects great things from Tilly. It’s even harder when her mother and father are Federation luminaries, not to mention pressing her to attend one of the best schools the Federation has to offer. Tilly wants to achieve great things - even though she hasn’t quite worked out how to do that or what it is she wants to do. But this year, everything will change for Tilly, as she is about to embark upon the adventure of a lifetime - an adventure that will take her ever closer to the stars....

Totally Boring, Extremely Difficult to Listen to.
Revisado: 01-25-19
I found this to be terrible. On and on about nothing. If you are a girl, you may like it. If u are a neurotic teenager, you may like it. If you like the same idiotic storyline chapter after chapter, you may like it. I got so sick of listening to the father, the mother, I got to the point where i just had to keep fast forwarding until it was thankfully over.
