Putting all my actual opinions aside
Revisado: 10-31-19
Viewing this purely as a literary piece, and a form of entertainment. It was very interesting, for not one moment was I bored listening to this audio book, in fact I would listen to this genre of audiobook again.
Including my opinions of the participants involved:
The mom was kind of annoying, because of her actions.
The narrator/investigator, I felt talked to all necessary parties involved, and tried to remain as unbiased as possible, given the circumstances and his position in it all.
I resonate the most with Andrew.

Historia
In December 2017 the famous porn star August Ames committed suicide in a park in the Conejo Valley. It happened a day after she’d been the victim of a pile-on, via Twitter, by fellow porn professionals - punishment for her tweeting something deemed homophobic. A month later, August’s husband, Kevin, connected with Jon Ronson to tell the story of how Twitter bullying killed his wife. What neither Kevin nor Ronson realized was that Ronson would soon hear rumors and secrets hinting at a very different story - something mysterious and unexpected and terrible.

A Truly Sad but Refreshing Case
Revisado: 01-08-19
My regards to August, her family and Kevin. I’d say this was a great piece of journalism that presented seemingly all sides of a story.
It would be nice to hear more about cases, in this manner. A way that presents all sides of the story. Media has so much influence in todays society and people are mostly going with the flow. Nobody knows what the truth is anymore because people either don’t truly care about the topic or don’t bother to fact check. It’s refreshing to hear people hearing as many sides as possible, fact checking and progressing with leads as needed.

"True belonging doesn't require us to change who we are. It requires us to be who we are." Social scientist Brené Brown, PhD, LMSW, has sparked a global conversation about the experiences that bring meaning to our lives - experiences of courage, vulnerability, love, belonging, shame, and empathy. In Braving the Wilderness, Brown redefines what it means to truly belong in an age of increased polarization.

Eventually, ground breaking advice was dropped...
Revisado: 01-05-19
For what seemed like all of three hours, it bored me. I then found out that I had actually only listened to an hour of the book. At around the hour mark, pretty ground breaking, everybody-must-take-this-away type of advice was provided. The true meaning of BRAVING. I am still listening, because I HAVE to finish books, even if it drags like this one. I definitely have taken the concept of BRAVING into 2019 and I’m a better person already, for myself and I’m sure to others.
A summary of this book will probably be just enoug though.

In 1914, the war which was to have been wrapped up by Christmas had - in reality - only just begun, as all sides entrenched themselves deeper into the Great War. Christmas Eve, 1914 follows one company of British officers as they rotate forward to spend their Christmas on the front lines, a mere 80 yards from the German guns. Upper- and working-class men and boys are thrown together into one trench and struggle to survive.
