Overall, an ok story with a happy ending. I find the story predictable. Except for the person who was targeting the heroine at the beginning, I pretty much figure out the rest of the story.
I'm not sure if I would spend another credit from this author. I purchased this book based on the overall high review and only find this book ok not great.
The narrator is Mary Jane Wells who has done a pretty good job. 👍

I want to love this story... I really do... But I just couldn't finish..
The story may be good but that couldn't handle it any longer...
The narrative affected me too much. I've enjoyed Carmen Rose books before but this time I couldn't. Her Welsh accent sounds more like Indian. There's nothing with Indian ascent but if you trying to sell me, Welsh, Then that's something I'm trying to vision..

It's a feel-good book! Makes my heart shore each time.
I enjoyed the narration as well.

seems like most characters are in heat.. nothing wrong with it..
just hard to know where it begin and ends..

I really been enjoying the MacKenzie series starting with Ian. This one is about Hart’s right hand hand, David Fleming who is also a distant cousin. The story is ok.. likable H/HH and more likable uncle. Somehow, it just not up to scratch like the others.
Most enjoyable book in this series is Ian, Cameron & Will for me. I like Malcom’s story too but got really disappointed knowing how he treated his son Ian.
He narrator did good job playing both sex.

Not going to summarize the book as author would have done a better job.
It’s ok story. Feel a bit rush especially at the end. Wish there was more to the story of what became (relationship) of mother and son. Or if he’s the real son. Maybe it would be in next book.*shrug*
I believe Narrator did a good job. Not sure why narrator was given low performance.
Give it a try if you have extra credits.

Most irritating heroine

I really don’t want to write a negative review but I really can’t stand it no more. I tried to give patience but it’s difficult. 8chapters in is all I can take. The heroine is spoiled, irritated, irresponsible, childish, rude, girl.
The narrator voice for the heroine isn’t making her more appealing.
That’s the last straw! I have to end this before I smack myself for being stupid enough to torture myself any longer.
