Every episode of "Where should we begin?" that I listen to reiterates my belief that every relationship is missing just a few keys for it to unlock it's most fullest and wonderful potential! I hope Esther is given long life and abundant resources to continue the amazing work she does for relationships.

I've always been fascinated by how therapists cope with all the "mess" they have to fix in other peoples' lives! One friend tells me a secret and the burden weighs on me like a boulder; the thought that therapists get to be hundreds of peoples' confidantes always boggled my mind!

This was a fascinating insight into what being a therapist and a "normal" human looks like; how the 2 coexist perfectly.

I loved every chapter! The story was intriguing and the narrator was amazing.

Will definitely read it again and again!

I'm fortunate to not have known who Gary was before this book, so I had absolutely no expectations. And I am pleasantly pleased.

The stories, the narration, the sass with which each tale is delivered made this a very enjoyable listen.

I downloaded "You Can Thank Me Later" as one of my selections for the November audible ORIGINAL selection.

The story is a novella depicting friendship, love, companionship, family, loss, grief and the process of healing. We follow Sophie as she tries to keep a promise that she made to a loved one before they passed, completely oblivious to how this promise is blinding her from facing her own grief.

I have to admit that I got very frustrated with Sophie at times; her self-absorption made me want to virtually slap her. But by the end of the story, I understood that grief is a complicated emotion, and everyone has their way of experiencing it.

I thoroughly enjoyed Lauren's narration. I felt every emotion and experienced every occurrence with the characters. Bravo!

The story was short but didn't feel truncated; every detail that needed to be presented, was.

"At once I understood that I had been looking at things with the right intention, but from the wrong angle. My marriage was imperfect and my job lacked meaning, but I had been searching for complicated solutions instead of addressing the common denominator in both equations-me!"

This is the story of sooo many women who have allowed life to 'happen' to them, and ultimately forced what they truly want for their lives to take a back seat.

When Penelope finds out that her "perfect" friend's life is not what it is cut out to be, she makes the decision to reclaim control of her life...starting with her marriage. She and her husband, Sanjay, promise each other complete honesty,  which culminates in them finding their way back to the marriage they had both hoped for but had been too afraid to ask for. The story is a reminder that "you do not have because you do not ask."

I loved that the author used the story to highlight a very pressing problem in our society; the abuse of over-the-counter medication. So many people are walking amongst us seeming content and on-top-of-things, and yet they are dependent on drugs that could end their life at any given moment. No one is perfect, and no one should strive to be. Penny reminds us of that!

I didn't care much for the narration; I found it to be a tad too slow and had to play it at a 1.25 pace to enjoy the story.

Light, whimsical listen. Story about a cross-country journey in pursuit of one thing, but ending up with something else entirely. Good narration, great descriptions, entertaining tale.

This book is in due season. At a time when so many people struggle with keeping up with the demands in their lives, this book is a source of great comfort and guidance. For anyone who has asked themselves "why am I still so tired?" after a week long vacation, this is a great place to start in your search for the answers.

I felt as if the book could have been given more opportunity to "unfold"...but then again, maybe it being rushed was the point to begin with!

For me, it felt like there was "something missing"; something more that still needed to be said.

The narrator's work was awesome! I enjoyed the varied accents & I didn't have to wait for the character to be announced to know who was presently speaking.

When words come to life!

This book was EXCEPTIONALLY written! The words danced off the pages and came alive in my imagination. I found myself, on more than one occasion, closing my eyes and imagining the scene set before me by the author. As if I were physically present in each encounter; a companion in the lives of Roy & Celestial!

As for the story...I loved every bit! The heart-wrenching just as much as the heart-warming. Stories such as these seem so far fetched; as if "something like that would never happen to me!" But it could!!! It could happen to anyone...many a men & women are serving jail sentences for being at the wrong place at the wrong time. And worse, for being the wrong race! This story is necessary for then, for now, for as long as brown skin remains a "threat"...merely by existing!

Sean's vocal variation was amazing! At some points in the story I had to pause and ponder as to whether there were more than 2 narrators.

Job well done to all!
