Disappointed
Revisado: 04-19-19
I was seriously disappointed in the book. It started nicely and I was intrigued, but it quickly turned into a story of bad decisions! It also seemed like EVERY decision had to be extreme, it was too often life or death. Ugh!

Disappointing
Revisado: 03-31-19
This book had numerous inconsistencies and I am VERY bothered by the weakness of the main female character; she is a powerless lump - very disturbing. Other examples of story inconsistencies: an island appears out of nowhere, no one knows where it’s supposed to be but the enemies are already on it - how?? The magi (main female character, Zaylee) does not have enough magic to do the slightest magic, but a soldier slowly transforms into a magi has magic far more powerful than Zaylee - how? The story is sad and full of hopelessness, she is whiny and wimpy. It is so sad because the story had such amazing potential but Zaylee is dull and witless. However Zaylee finally has power, literally the last 45 minutes of the book, seriously? I cannot recommend this book.

Historia
Moments after Lisbeth is born, she’s taken from her mother and handed over to an enslaved wet nurse, Mattie, a young mother separated from her own infant son in order to care for her tiny charge. Thus begins an intense relationship that will shape both of their lives for decades to come. Though Lisbeth leads a life of privilege, she finds nothing but loneliness in the company of her overwhelmed mother and her distant, slave-owning father.

I loved it and couldn’t put it down!!This is one of the best books I’ve read in a long time, it’s quite a bit of profanity so you can have the kids around, but other than that it’s an amazing read.

Historia
When you have to kill the same terrorist twice in one week there’s either something wrong with your world or something wrong with your skills - and there’s nothing wrong with Joe Ledger’s skills. And that’s both a good and a bad thing. It’s good because he’s a Baltimore detective who has just been secretly recruited by the government to lead a new task force created to deal with the problems that Homeland Security can’t handle....

Great Zombie Story
Revisado: 02-08-18
I thoroughly enjoyed this zombie story; once again my only concern was the profanity as I could NOT listen to it when my kids were in the car. Other than that I really, really enjoyed it.

Excellent Start
Revisado: 10-25-17
I loved the creativity displayed in creating another world however it seemed that the author wrote the story at two separate times. Almost the entire first half of the story there is no profanity and things flow very logically the the second half if the story she adds words to the story that are unique to that time and she uses profanity- it is very much like two volumes and her cliffhanger is very underwhelming.

In a world where nothing supernatural exists, Tess Eckhart is positive she's going crazy. After her complete freak-out at a high school party, her family is too. So much that they pack their bags and move across the country, next to a nationally-renowned facility for the mentally ill. Tess is determined to fit in at her new school, despite the whispers and stares. But when it comes to Luka Williams, a reluctantly popular boy in her class, she's unused to a stare that intense.

MUSHY

I found the book, The Gifting, very mushy and too much like Twilight. She kept saying how much she loved, him how cute he was, it was a bit much.

Revisado: 03-26-17
I was not really thrilled with the story. The editor's did not catch some story line errors. I'm not sure overall how I feel about the story I felt like it was supposed to end like a cliffhanger but it fell flat. Try it you may feel differently, I was unimpressed.
