Historia
Over thirty million people have read The Diary of a Young Girl, the journal teen-aged Anne Frank kept while living in an attic with her family and four other people in Amsterdam during World War II, until the Nazis arrested them and sent them to a concentration camp. But despite the many works—journalism, books, plays and novels—devoted to Anne’s story, none has ever conclusively explained how these eight people managed to live in hiding undetected for over two years—and who or what finally brought the Nazis to their door.

A very interesting summary of how a cold case investigation is performed

The missing piece of evidence.
Revisado: 06-29-24
Extremely long, but thorough, with a lackluster ending. It was almost like listening to the reading of a high school history book by an AI generated voiceover.

Historia
For years, rumors of the "Marsh Girl" have haunted Barkley Cove, a quiet town on the North Carolina coast. So in late 1969, when handsome Chase Andrews is found dead, the locals immediately suspect Kya Clark, the so-called Marsh Girl. But Kya is not what they say. Sensitive and intelligent, she has survived for years alone in the marsh that she calls home, finding friends in the gulls and lessons in the sand.

Amazing

The story has several twists and turns with subtle clues as to the ending. The narrator is by far the best I’ve heard. Her ability to change voices to numerous characters was phenomenal. Highly recommend.

Horrible

Will not and could not give this book a positive review. The narrator sounds like a robot, to include saying that the event took place in “1934”. There was no flow and is a waste of money.
