if you really do, wanna feel like you’ve been teleported into the mind of a guy going through the experience of being involved with those first two turtle films. This book is perfect for it. I went down a ninja turtle hole, and this is the only really good documentary I can find. Kenn wrote a great piece and also did an excellent read. If you were a kid like me who grew up in the 80s and 90s loving Ninja Turtles especially those films this is definitely worth your time!

I’ve gone through this book twice once when I was about to go through a break up. And then once when it actually happened and it was my fault. It’s really help me through my mental pain and heartbreak. Really helps you understand that you can still love somebody and let them go for your sake and there’s an how to do it.

Claudia, in my opinion, is the new Timothy‘s Zahn, ever since Disney took over. every Star Wars books he’s written I have loved. And when I heard she was taking on my favorite master and apprentice team of all time, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this one. Which is why I’m really bummed that I’m disappointed in the story. I feel that the book was too much of a foreshadowing of episode one, and not it’s own entity. I didn’t find the mystery very engaging. And The B cast of characters we’re not that intriguing. I think Pax, A character that was raised completely by protocol droids, was The only interesting character I was into besides Qui-gon and Obi-wan. All in all did not find myself looking forward to going back to the book about 80% of the time. Which is usually how I can tell, I’m not that interested. This one was a bummer, I may be a little more disappointed than I should be, only because I was looking SO forward to it. But I guess that’s what Star Wars is . Anyway I still look forward to any future books she puts out, I still think she’s a fantastic writer, this one just didn’t work for me.

Not sure it’s really Timothy‘s fault, it looks like Disney just wanted him to bring Thrawn, (One of the most epic characters he’s made along with a great cast of other characters like Mara jade ) into the incredibly boring cartoon show that is known as Revol. It’s a shame he wasn’t in the clone wars show. I think he would’ve been better represented. I found this book pretty boring overall, and I didn’t care that much about any of the other characters. Going to read the next book in the trilogy and hope it gets better. But I’m 100% confident nothings going to compare to the original thrawn trilogy.

I really wish George Lucas based his script off of Matthew’s writing, so much more passionate better lines just a better story all around.

I'm usually not a big fan of made up characters being main characters in books I always love to have at least one main character from the film or TV shows as my catalyst to go through the storyline however these characters were so well done I'm upsets with them just as much and even more then some characters in the film not only are the characters great but it really is a great dictation in view of what life was like being a rebel and Imperial during all the great wars in Star Wars. The story only lost one star from me because I felt that the ending was left a little too open ended and up in the air but other than that it was an amazing book and a great read I strongly suggest this one for any Star Wars fan
