I was gobsmacked when I read Le Morte d'Arthur in high school and since then I’ve read everything I can find related to King Arthur. I was thrilled to bits with Victoria Sue’s The Twelfth Knight and eagerly await the sequel. Greg Boudreaux’s narration is flawless.
I highly recommend The Twelfth Knight to Arthurian Legend fans and to anyone who loves a magical tale.

Would you listen to The Reason I Jump again? Why?

Absolutely. It's fascinating and to hear the author answering questions in a straight forward, easy to understand manner is refreshing.

What other book might you compare The Reason I Jump to and why?

None. I've never read anything about autism before.

Have you listened to any of Tom Picasso’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

No

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes

Any additional comments?

I'll be recommending this to my friends and on social media

Would you listen to Dancing Blades: A Seventeen Series Short Story again? Why?

Absolutely. This was a complete story with beginning, middle and ending, and could be read as a stand alone.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Lucas Soul. Interesting protagonist and a story arc I've never seen before. Fascinating, it grabbed me by the throat and yanked me along for the ride.

Which scene was your favorite?

Fight scene in the alley.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Giddy with excitement and looking forward to listening to the other books in the series.

Any additional comments?

The narrative added to the enjoyment, and Michael Bower did a phenomenal job with the different characters. In fact, if Michael Bower is the narrator, I'm going to buy the Seventeen series books in audio as they're published. Yes, they're THAT good.

Would you listen to Sugar-free Beta again? Why?

Yes. Angelique Voisen's Wolves of New Haven series is one of my favorites, and I can't wait to hear the rest of the series. One of the reasons I like this series is that it's so different than other shifter stories. In her series, these wolves are subject to the same health problems (diabetes, high cholesterol, gluten intolerance, and cancer to name a few), and dietary decisions (vegetarian) as mere humans. It's refreshing and there's not much chest thumping and shouting the words MINE!

What about Albert Waxton’s performance did you like?

He had the ability to sound shy and bashful and uncertain. I liked that.

If you could take any character from Sugar-free Beta out to dinner, who would it be and why?

Derek and Jack--they're adorable. But no dessert or meat for Derek.

What did you like best about this story?

This has everything I look for in a book: strong plot, a story line that doesn't stall, heart-pounding action, delightfully unexpected twists, sparkling, succinct dialogue; three dimensional, believable characters; great character development, descriptive narrative using all five senses (brava!), show-not-tell writing, multiple POV, and no information dump. And well edited.

Gorier than I'm comfortable with, but Rhys didn't give blow by blow descriptions and the reader was only shown the results. Through all this, I didn't freak out and nothing tripped my trigger.

Any additional comments?

I bought the rest of the series in both digital and audio. I'm nothing if not OCD.

Congratulations, Ms. Ford, you've knocked this one out of the park.
