My once a year read

I love this book. It inspires me and reminds me of the person I want to be (because I forget). The practicality, fact based no frills approach to explaining habit and to make good ones is what makes me come back time and again. Each time I’m a bit better and more like the person I want to be, but good habit making and keeping is a journey , and a lifelong one at that. Thanks James

Transports you to another life

Mohsin does so well in painting pictures with words. I loved the story and the implied lessons. I felt the last 3rd of the book wasn’t as compelling as the earlier parts and felt a bit rushed, but overall a really great listen.

wonderful, but over dramatised at times

amazing story, but the flow was interrupted for nee by all the dramatic music sound every corner. I'd highly recommend it though

Will Wheaton did well as the narrator. The storyline was great and concepts are awesome. The writing was good but not great. Still a very entertaining “read” and I’d recommend it to any gamer or sci-fi fan

A book about what life should be like . A real treasure

Eugene Peterson is an exceptional writer but most importantly is a wonderful man after God's heart. Run with the Horses helps makes sense of the muddled world we live in by using the life of Jeremiah as inspiration. It has left me motivated to pursue God the way Jeremiah did and to find security in Him alone. Every chapter is rich and full of wisdom to contemplate. I'm so glad I bought this - I find it best to have the printed copy as well so that I can go back to specific parts to underline and re-read.

principles are great, but this author has no heart for people. success at the cost of any relationship is not the way people should live - that's the reason this world is in the state that it is today

Robert Greene doesn't practice what he preaches... read the reviews of the 40 laws and you'll see that he doesn't practice them himself... what kind of a person writes and recommends things that he doesn't practice himself?
