They called him Mack Daddy. No, seriously, his name was Mack. Short for Mackenzie. Thus, the nickname. Perfect, right? So was he: perfect. The perfect physical male specimen. At the private school where I taught, Mack Morrison was the only man around in a sea of women.

Penelope, SebYo and Andi never disappoint.
Revisado: 07-10-18
I know each time I start a Penelope book, I'm not going to be disappointed. The fact that Andi and Sebastian narrate them only make it better. They have a way of putting you in the story and making it come to life around you. Mack and Freddie's story wasn't any different. I love, love, LOVE it. Maybe one day Jonah will have his very own story to tell. Loved that kid.

Any additional comments?
Ash was my favorite character. He wasn't the typical male jerk that's in so many romance novels nowadays. He was down to earth and warm, but knew exactly how to heat the sheets up. A pleasant surprise. There were a lot of moments that moved me, but they are spoilers, so I can't say. I strongly recommend this audiobook to any and all romance lovers. It's well written and edited and has an amazing and original plot. Don't pass this one up!

Love a good mystery! Especially if there are dogs.
Revisado: 01-12-17
Which character – as performed by Jane Boyer – was your favorite?
Peter. I'd almost forgotten how much I loved his character from A Shot in the Bark.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes, and I did. I am luck enough to get to listen to audiobooks at my day job, and this one was a great listen.
Any additional comments?
The plot was good, and the characters were well developed. The narrator did a great job of bringing them to life for me. I felt as though I was right there in the story, helping Lia/Lea and Peter. I remember several characters from book 1, and in my opinion, this book is even better. If you like a good mystery, with a little heat and suspense - and don't forget the furry critters that wag their tails - then you won't be disappointed with this series. Can't wait to dig in to book 3!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Absolutely! I haven't listened/read many Sci-Fi books, but I'm glad I stumbled upon this one. The book was well written, the characters well developed and I didn't notice any plot holes. Well done!
What was one of the most memorable moments of Quarter Share?
The trading of goods from one planet to the next. Great idea.
Have you listened to any of Jeffrey Kafer’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
I have not.
Any additional comments?
I thoroughly enjoyed this listen. The story was great, but Jeffrey Kafer's connection to the characters made it more enjoyable, in my opinion. I listened to it all in one go. The only thing I found odd--but it in no way took away from the story--was the fact that nothing bad seemed to happen to any of the characters. There weren't many major obstacles that they had to go through to get from point A to point B. Everything seemed to fall into place as it should and work out in each characters' favor. Other than that, I felt as if I was onboard the ship and that Ish's friends were my friends, too. Great story. I'll be picking up the second book.

What other book might you compare Unwilling to and why?
I'm not sure it compares to any I've read or listened to before. It's an original story.
What does Candice Goodman bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Her narration was clear and clean. She gave each character a voice of their own.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
When love is meant to be, nothing can stop it from finding you.

Enthralling first book.
What was one of the most memorable moments of By the Light of the Moon?
When she finally realized what she really was.
What about Jeffrey Kafer’s performance did you like?
His narration was steady and clear, and, in my opinion, he was perfect for this book. I'd like to listen to more books Jeffrey has narrated.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes, and I did, and I will more than likely listen to it again before book 2 releases in audiobook.

Awesome addition to the Station series!
Revisado: 08-08-15
Would you consider the audio edition of Niles: A Station Series Novelette to be better than the print version?
I loved both equally, but the audio version gives me an actual voice to put with the face in my head.
What did you like best about this story?
The creativity the author puts into the story. Great fictional world.
What does Richard Wilson bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
His voice matches perfectly to the Niles in my head.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes, and I did!
Any additional comments?
A great short listen, less than an hour. I put it on as I cleaned my house. Cleaning isn't so bad anymore. :)

Tremors of the Heart!
Revisado: 02-25-15
Any additional comments?
Susan put so much emotion and heartache in this story that it literally felt as though I was there and feeling Courtland and Adela's pain. I got choked up several times, and it takes a lot for a story to make me cry; Susan did it more than once. It was raw, gritty, sorrowful and perfect. Just when I thought things were beginning to look up for the main characters, something else would happen to knock them back down. The attraction between Adela and Courtland isn't obvious at first, but their love for one another slowly blooms in their darkest hour. This is a very well written book. Allusive Aftershock isn't the first book I've read by Susan Griscom, and it certainly won't be the last. Well done, Susan. 5 stars from me on this one!

I have not, but she was very good, and each character was distinct.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
I don't want to give any of the plot away, but I really enjoyed the romance part of the book between Lea and Peter.

If you could sum up Lost and Found in three words, what would they be?
I want MORE!
What did you like best about this story?
I felt like I was there with each of the characters and feeling all of their emotions. The story definitely pulls at your heartstrings.
Which character – as performed by Erin Spencer – was your favorite?
Riley - she is such a strong character. I couldn't imagine ever having to go through what she had to endure, but the character knows she doesn't have a choice, so she makes the best of it and gives it all of her heart and soul. But she wasn't the only one I connected with. Drake, Kris, Winchester, Finn and of course the yummy Conner all felt like family from the moment I started this book.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
Oh, God! I can't really think of a part of the book that didn't move me. From beginning to the very end I felt like I was on an emotional roller coaster. I was bawling like a baby by the end. Such an awesome read.
