Historia
Vincent is a bartender at the Hotel Caiette, a five-star lodging on the northernmost tip of Vancouver Island. On the night she meets Jonathan Alkaitis, a hooded figure scrawls a message on the lobby's glass wall: Why don’t you swallow broken glass. High above Manhattan, a greater crime is committed: Alkaitis's billion-dollar business is really nothing more than a game of smoke and mirrors.

Masterful storytelling
Revisado: 04-17-22
Huge fan of her work- her words and sentences are crafted into a beautiful story and the audible reader does a splendid job of bringing it home- highly recommended.

Fan of both but not good fit
Revisado: 04-06-17
Being both a fan of Greg, author and Scott, the narrator, who I have enjoyed many of his books, the audible production was disappointing to me. It was like he (Scott) was trying to hard to make this more dramatic, Too much of an attempt at performance. I almost gave up halfway through and just bought the book to finish it. I have the first two in the series. While the pace a little bit different, The court room tactics are brilliant. It, as the final in any trilogy, tied up a lot of loose ends and added quite a few good plot twist. Now that this book is out, it's time to go back and start from the beginning and read through the whole set so you don't find yourself asking "now who is that" it's a rip roaring great tale- Rich With Mississippi. A trip to Natchez is a bucket list item. Another great one Mr Iles.

He's done it again! Mixing satire with the real world and such an elegant way do you have to laugh at ourselves
