Clean Epic Fantasy

Even though Sable is the main character, the amount of energy that went into the back story for her companions truly added to full immersion in this story. I appreciated clean romance, although it was not the focus of the story of Sable finding herself in the world, it added to her journey. It truly represented the bad guys having good traits, as we see in the real world. I also loved reading about “average” people coming together to fight for freedom in their nation. 75 hours of not using my time wisely, and thoroughly enjoying the voice portraying a well lined out epic story!

There are political interests at stake, and some kingdoms and factions do not see the new alliance between Norghana and Irinel with good eyes. There are those who want the Druid Queen not to reach the throne. As if that weren't enough, another, greater danger looms over Norghana and all of Tremia. A danger of enormous dimensions that threatens to descend from the skies and destroy entire kingdoms.

Great Characters, Great Story

The character development is great. I enjoy following Viggo as he gains wisdom and a better moral compass, because of good friends. I love how the many twists and adventurous turns make the Panthers friendship even more solid.

This is probably my favorite book of the series so far. I will listen to it over and over until the next one comes out.
I love the progression of Ingrid and Viggo’s relationship in this book. I knew all along that Viggo is as awesome as he thinks he is.
Really, I feel like this book takes a deep dive into the growth of the team in terms of other people really recognizing what awesome people they are, since the readers knew all along.
Also, I can’t wait to find out more about the orb.
Thank you Pedro Urvi for writing a book series filled with adventure, a smidge of romance, and mostly for likeable characters that mostly just want to make their world a better place. We need them in our world!
