It was a good fantasy

I like the idea of time travel and the philosophers stone. All three books were an easy listen and they were funny. It is YA so there is that bit of swooning from the female character throughout the book. All three books were very well intertwined. There were moments in all of the books where I thought some actions weren’t explained but they were explained in later books. The ending was anticlimactic to me. The villain was outed and disposed of in two minutes. I liked the epilogue it was sweet and it closed another circle. I think there should have been something by James doing a recount of their chance encounter at Hyde park. But all in all the books were good!
They should be movies! They are already movies in Germany though.

I thought it was a very great adaptation of the original story by Hans Christian Andersen. I think the original version it’s probably a lot more sad than this one. I feel like this one gives hope.

I have enjoyed all of the books that I’ve listened to so far from the whiskey row series and this one was just as good as the others. I will say that I’m glad they got rid of the original female narrator because she was not very good, IMO. The new female narrator is so much better with the accents and capturing the characters. It was a better listen than before.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVED this story! The story of Casey and Sidra! I love how dynamic their relationship shop is because I can relate and I love the plot of the story…how everything from the first book down to this one all intertwine. I love the story that the author created about the brothers…it definitely helps me escape and dream when I am listening.

The story and the main character

At first the story started all slow in the first book, but worth it in the first book. It started to pick up, but each book built upon Each other and made a great story. The ending was good but kind of sad. I kind of wish that there was more to it but all in all a great set of books.

The story was good as well. I love the narrator and the way she sounds like my childhood I will say. I like the jokes that are laced into the story they fit very well. I didn’t care much for the voodoo, but the story is based in New Orleans, Louisiana so.

What I liked about the book is the attention to detail how they worked in the Miss Mary Mack hand game and just the overall way it was written. it is a children’s book however it brought me back to my childhood and I was able to listen to my children.

I was so excited about this book!

I was so excited about the is book because I listened the first one and the whole idea of 4 women coming together to solve a problem and find out who killed their husbands was good. This time they are in a whole new adventure together. I love the bond that the authors have created among the main characters. It makes me want friends like that. I will say that both books would be great movies and I would love to see that.
